I don't care much for the exclusive aspect, I just wish people wouldn't wait till the very last minute and then wonder why they missed out. Again, the Club would've made more if more people had ordered in the original time frame. These aren't mass production pieces that Hasbro cranks out for less than a buck a figure and can place in any case assortment they please. These do cost the Club money too. Probably more than we'd think. I can certainly understand that they wouldn't want inventory sitting around while collectors wait for item to clearance out.
Anyway, I just don't like people complaining about the club not making enough when their own procrastination is to blame. |

Anyway, I just don't like people complaining about the club not making enough when their own procrastination is to blame. If the club and Hasbro and online retailers teamed up to give collectors a 7 pack of the most favored "missing" 25th anniversary figures...Cover Girl, Jinx, Footloose, Law & Order, Lifeline, and whoever else, say...people would complain. They would complain because A: It was too expensive (even if it was less than retail price per fig) B: You needed a credit card (because they don't issue them in Pig Loin, Alabama or Crackalacker, North Carolina) C: Shipping was expensive D: That they needed to give their email to join the club E: That there was a deadline. F: About the sculpts G: About the character selection Hasbro could make a figure that shat gold and gave 100% accurate stock tips and collectors around here would STILL complain.

Agreed. People are idiots. I tend to forget that.

So kids, I'm actually pretty stoked about this Pimped Vehicle Contest. Looks like my Adventure Team is going to have to waita little while longer for new vehicles.

So... does anyone know if there's anything planned for TF Generations/RtS beyond the Warpath and Wreck-Gar waves?

Hoping to find a cheaper Rumble and Frenzy, eh? Speculation is that they'll see a stateside release. I don't think that there's any official word though.

And as for the next MP, eh, I can wait. I'm thinking 2 years or so is a good recovery time after getting that gorgeous expensive poor quality Rodimus. Sort of in that vein, has anyone heard anything about the conehead knockoffs? I doubt I'll ever own them due to expense, but I'm curious. |
