EPISODE ONE: V DAY
Planet Arus celebrates the ten-year anniversary of the fall of Planet Doom. The original Voltron Force has disbanded but addresses the crowd from Earth. Princess Allura is now Captain of the new Voltron Force and pilots the Black Lion. The Drule refugees led by Hazar and Dorma have settled on Planet Arus. Dorma has become the pilot of the Blue Lion. Prince Bandor of Planet Pollux has grown up and flies the Red Lion. Jai, the little boy from Nemon, has become pilot of the Yellow Lion. Tami, the little girl who wore Pidge's uniform as a decoy when Yurak attacked Planet Arus with red rain, has grown up to fly the Green Lion. Coran, aging but strong, still operates Castle Control. On Earth, Keith has been promoted to Fleet Commander. Lance, Hunk and Pidge are officers on the bridge of his command ship. The Vehicle Team Voltron Force serve under him. Commander Hawkins has become Space Marshal of the Galaxy Alliance. Romelle has married Sven and became Queen of Planet Pollux. She, Sven and their nine year-old son have traveled to Planet Arus for the celebration, as have the leaders of the free planets of the Danubian Galaxy. Princess Allura is under pressure from Nanny and Queen Orla to resign as Voltron Force Captain and marry. They have a number of suitors in mind. It is revealed Allura is pining for Keith. It is also revealed that Hazar, who is the liaison for his people in the Arus government, has fallen in love with Allura. He confides this to his sister Dorma. On Earth, after their speech is transmitted to Planet Arus, Lance, Hunk and Pidge confront Keith about arranging their schedule so they could not attend. Lance accuses Keith of doing it on purpose because of his feelings for Allura. Keith refuses to acknowledge it. Back on Planet Arus, the young members of the Voltron Force, Bandor, Tami and Jai reminisce about their past and their roles in Planet Doom's defeat. It is revealed Bandor and Tami are in a relationship. After Bandor leaves to meet with Romelle, Jai teases Tami about becoming a princess. The episode ends revealing a spy of unknown origin and agenda observing and recording the celebration on Planet Arus. EPISODE TWO: The spy is revealed to have been sent by the Demos Empire. It is shown that after his defeat on Planet Doom ten years ago, Lotor fled to the Demos Empire to obtain asylum from Princess Koraal, to whom he'd been betrothed by King Zarkon. Koraal had fallen in love with Lotor, but he had rejected her, incurring the ire of Koraal's father the King. Koraal had harbored Lotor in secret, and he had manipulated her into poisoning her father so she could assume the throne. Lotor could then reveal himself openly and married Koraal, becoming the King of the Demos Empire. He then began preparations to invade the Danubian Galaxy which has taken almost ten years. It is revealed that Lotor has never gotten over his obsession with Princess Allura and has no love for his wife, having only used her to gain the throne. It is also revealed that many of the Demos nobles despise Lotor and are plotting against him. Lotor and his war council meet and discuss their plans to invade the Danubian Galaxy. First, the Voltron Force must be eliminated so Voltron cannot be used. Then, the armada of Demos will simultaneously attack each of the free planets. The assassin team is assembled and dispatched to Planet Arus. EPISODE THREE: The V Day festivities are concluded, and the Voltron Force help with the cleanup. The assassin team arrives and catches the Voltron Force outside their Lions. They attack. Jai is shot and killed first. Tami tries to protect him and she, too, is mortally wounded. The assassins surround Bandor protecting Tami and Jai's bodies and he fights them with a sword but they cut him down also. The assassins give the signal and the Demos Armada attacks. Allura and Dorma in their Lions destroy the assassins. Lotor himself commands the assault on Planet Arus. Coran is unable to summon help because their communications are blocked by the Demos Armada. Robeasts are sent to devastate the planet. Princess Allura in the Black Lion and Dorma in the Blue Lion fight valiantly but are overwhelmed. Lotor attempts to capture Princess Allura in the Black Lion and reveals himself as the enemy commander. Allura is horrified to learn that Lotor is still alive and once again a deadly threat to Arus. The Black Lion escapes Lotor's ships trying to capture it with magnet beams and the battle rages on. EPISODE FOUR: The Castle of Lions is bombarded by enemy forces. Coran begs Allura and Dorma to flee because the battle is lost. Allura at first refuses, preferring to fight and die in defense of Arus, but Coran persuades her that to protect her people, she must live to fight another day. Reluctantly, Allura and Dorma flee Arus in their Lions, pursued by Lotor and the Demos fighters. Hazar leads the staff of the Castle of Lions to safety in the underground tunnels but Coran remains. He stays in the control room and waits for the invaders. The Demos general breaks into the Castle and finds his way to the control room. Once he breaks the door, Coran tells him the Castle and its secrets will never be taken and detonates a bomb, obliterating the Castle and everyone in it. Molten fragments of the Castle strike surrounding Demos dreadnaughts and destroy them. From a cave, Hazar, Queen Orla, Nanny, the Arus nobles and citizens watch in horror as the Castle explodes, destroying the island on which it was built and at last nothing is left but the lake. EPISODE FIVE: Planet Pollux is also under siege. Romelle and Sven lead the Pollux fleet against the Demos Armada. The Pollux fleet is losing until Allura and Dorma arrive in their Lions and turn the tide somewhat. Lotor lands his plane on the Demos command ship and assumes command of the Pollux attack. On Earth, some messages from different Danubian planets have got through. The Galaxy Alliance Council meets, and decides to dispatch a space fleet immediately commanded by Keith and including the Vehicle Team Voltron Force. No one knows what has happened to Planet Arus and the Lion Force Voltron. On the Demos command ship, it is revealed the attacks on the different free planets are progressing well. It is also revealed the Castle of Lions was destroyed and the Demos general killed. His subordinate has taken command and is setting up an occupational force on Planet Arus. In the space around Planet Pollux, the tide has again turned against the Polluxans due to the arrival of enemy reinforcements. Queen Romelle must make a terrible choice: Retreat and abandon Pollux or stay and be destroyed. But Sven and Romelle's son is still on the planet. They decide they cannot leave him, and send a team down to the royal palace to rescue the prince while they continue to try to delay the invading Demos forces. EPISODE SIX: All around the Danubian Galaxy, free planets are falling to the Demos Empire. Planet Lyra is conquered, as is Planet Mora. Yadl also falls. Titus, Ebb, Nemon, Olion and others are taken as well. The captured Planet Doom is also conquered by Demos forces. Keith's fleet continues its journey. The Vehicle Team trains in preparation for war. Keith reflects on his feelings for Allura, whose fate he does not know. The Polluxan rescue team arrives at the royal palace and evacuates the prince, escaping for a designated rendezvous point. Once he is safe, Queen Romelle calls for a retreat. Some of the Polluxan ships fight a suicidal holding action to allow Romelle and the Lions to escape. Lotor, disgusted, orders his ship to take him to Planet Arus. His purpose: To destroy the three remaining Voltron Lions. EPISODE SEVEN: Princess Allura, Dorma, Queen Romelle and Sven's ships escape to the ice planet Nieve where Romelle crashed many years ago when she escaped the dungeons of Planet Doom. Romelle grieves Bandor's death and swears revenge on Lotor. They try to contact anyone from the free planets and the Galaxy Alliance, with no success. They hide their ships in a huge ice cave. Lotor arrives on Planet Arus. Since Coran destroyed the Castle, there is no way to access the Green, Yellow and Red Lions. He orders the planet searched until they are found. In the underground tunnels, Hazar and the remnants of the Arus military organize guerrilla units to hinder the Demos occupational forces. They also discuss the fate of the keys of the Green, Yellow and Red Lions. What happened to them after Bandor, Jai and Tami were killed? It is known the assassins were destroyed before the arrival of the Demos Armada, but what happened to the bodies of the slain Voltron Force members and their keys? As Lotor assumes command of Planet Arus, some of the malcontent Drules pledge their allegiance to Lotor. One of Lotor's generals reveals the Galaxy Alliance support fleet is en route to the Danubian Galaxy. Lotor, having anticipated this, sends his best general in command of a fleet prepared for this contingency, to intercept the Alliance forces. EPISODE EIGHT: Hazar and his strike team enter the burning city to try to find what happened to the keys. They avoid the patrols of the Demos forces, and talk to some citizens to try to find out if anyone saw anything or knows what happened. Hazar and his team decide to rescue a group of Arusian and Drule captives. They attack the Demos guards, escape, and lead the prisoners to the underground tunnels. During the attack, Hazar and Lotor duel to a draw and Hazar escapes. On Planet Doom, the citizens of Doom celebrate their liberation from the Galaxy Alliance. It is revealed that Zarkon and Haggar are with the Demos general who captured Planet Doom, and that they are plotting against Lotor. Zarkon reveals Planet Doom has a deadly secret the Galaxy Alliance never learned in ten years of occupation, and he has returned to have his revenge on Lotor, Planet Arus and the Galaxy Alliance. EPISODE NINE: In the underground tunnels, Hazar and the resistance leaders question the people they rescued about the fate of the Keys. A little girl approaches Hazar and calls herself Voltricia—the same who was born 10 years ago during an epic battle between Voltron and Haggar's first Mecha-Robeast. She was witness to the attack on the Voltron Force and was able to retrieve the keys from Bandor, Jai and Tami's bodies. She then fled but was separated from her parents in the attack. She gives the keys to Hazar. Hazar does not know if the three remaining Lions will respond to him and two Arus soldiers who volunteer to fly the Lions, but he is determined to try. The Demos hordes continue to scour the countryside searching for the Lions. Queen Koraal arrives, much to Lotor's annoyance. The nobles are incensed at Lotor's cruel treatment of her. Scout ships led by Sven are sent from the refugees on Nieve to try to learn what is going on. They encounter the huge armada sent to intercept the Galaxy Alliance support fleet. They report back to Allura and Romelle on Nieve. But they are detected by the Demos forces and attacked. Sven's ship is captured and he is taken to the Demos General. Sven is tortured by the Demos but he refuses to reveal the whereabouts of Allura and Romelle. The Demos general prepares to kill him when the alarms sound aboard his ship: The Galaxy Alliance fleet is approaching! On board Keith's command ship, the Alliance forces prepare for battle and Vehicle Voltron is scrambled. EPISODE TEN: On Planet Arus, Hazar and the two Arus soldiers each lead commando teams to the three Lions to try to activate them and get them away from the planet. Hazar goes for the Red Lion, the male soldier goes for the Yellow Lion and the female soldier for the Green Lion in the forest. Their teams each evade patrolling Demos forces and rampaging Robeasts. Hazar's team reaches the Red Lion in the volcano but they are sighted by Demos forces. Demos soldiers attack, and all but Hazar are killed. Hazar fights the Demos commander and hurls him into a lava pit. He then takes the key, says a prayer, but the Red Lion will not work! More Demos forces arrive, and a Robeast! EPISODE ELEVEN: Led by Vehicle Voltron, the Galaxy Alliance space fleet goes head-to-head against the Demos Armada. The Demos forces launch a cadre of Robeasts to destroy Vehicle Voltron, who viciously battles them and takes them down one by one. Keith orders his command ship the Excalibur to punch right through the Demos Armada and attack its flagship. During the fighting, Sven is able to escape his bonds. He captures a Demos pilot and forces him to fly him from the ship and contact the Alliance. Sven makes contact with Keith aboard the Excalibur and makes it on board the ship. The space battle rages. EPISODE TWELVE: On Planet Arus, the spirit of King Alfor appears to Hazar and asks him if he is prepared to die for the people of Arus. Hazar tells him yes, that the people of Arus are now just as much his people as the Drules. The Lion activates, and Hazar is attacked by the Robeast and the Demos fighters. It is reported to Lotor that the Red Lion has been found but it is activated. Lotor orders his ship to intercept the Red Lion at once. On Nieve, Romelle worries about Sven with whom contact has been lost for some time. Allura and Dorma comfort her, assuring her that no matter what, they must carry on. More scout ships are sent. Hazar is losing badly to the Robeast when suddenly the Green and Yellow Lions arrive! They are able to push the Robeast into the lava, destroying it, when Lotor's command ship appears with another Robeast. The Lions flee Planet Arus, pursued by Lotor's forces. EPISODE THIRTEEN: The battle between Keith's fleet and the Demos Armada continues, neither side gaining an advantage. Vehicle Voltron is faring better, prompting the Demos General to leave command of his fleet with his lieutenant and suit up in his own Super-Robeast to take down Vehicle Voltron. The two mechanized giants fight. Hazar and the Red, Green and Yellow Lions flee Arus, pursued by Lotor's forces. They are detected by the refugees on Planet Nieve and Allura and Dorma suit up and take the Black and Blue Lions to intercept the other Lions. Back at the space battle, Vehicle Voltron destroys the Super-Robeast and the Demos General, then attacks the Demos command ship. Taking heavy fire from the Excalibur and Vehicle Voltron, the Demos flagship is destroyed. Demoralized, the remaining Demos forces retreat. The five original Voltron Force members reunite with the Vehicle Team Voltron members and celebrate their victory. Sven tells them they must rescue Allura and Romelle on Planet Nieve. EPISODE FOURTEEN: On Planet Nieve, Romelle waits anxiously for news of Sven and the Black and Blue Lions. Suddenly, their hideout is attacked! The Demos forces have found them! The Black and Blue Lions meet the Red, Green and Yellow Lions in space. Under Allura's leadership, they form Voltron and are attacked by Lotor's Robeast. They destroy the Robeast. Lotor is contacted by the remnants of the Demos Armada who report to him they have lost to the Galaxy Alliance fleet and Vehicle Voltron has come to the Danubian Galaxy. Lotor flees rather than fight Voltron, vowing to slaughter every living person on Arus in retaliation. They prepare to pursue Lotor but are contacted by Romelle—Voltron must return to Nieve to save the refugees. Allura and Hazar decide to go to Nieve, and then straight back to Planet Arus. EPISODE FIFTEEN: The battle on Planet Nieve continues. Voltron arrives and destroys the Demos forces including a Robeast. The remnants of the Polluxan fleet prepare to depart for Planet Arus when Vehicle Voltron and the Galaxy Alliance fleet arrives! There is a joyous reunion between Allura and the Voltron Force, Sven and Romelle, and Hazar and Dorma. At Allura's request, Keith leaves command of his ship with another Galaxy Alliance officer, and Keith returns to the Black Lion, Allura to the Blue, Lance to the Red, Pidge to the Green, and Hunk to the Yellow. Sven and Romelle command the Polluxan forces. Dorma and Hazar join the Alliance commander on board the Excalibur. The Galaxy Alliance fleet heads for Planet Arus. EPISODE SIXTEEN: In a mad rage, Lotor orders the occupational forces of Planet Arus to abandon their posts and begin scorching the surface of the planet, killing everyone and everything. Lotor goes so far as to order the removal of the control circuits of the Robeasts so they will go totally berserk and destroy anything that comes into their path. He then orders his ship high in the sky so he can watch the devastation. Lotor's generals beg him to put together a defense force to deal with the approaching Alliance fleet, but after he kills a couple of them, they back down. The Galaxy Alliance fleet arrives at Planet Arus to find the Demos forces hard at work destroying every city and village. They attack. Both Lion and Vehicle Voltron go against the insane Robeasts who are so crazed they are even attacking each other. The Excalibur goes after Lotor's command ship 'til they realize that Lotor has stocked his ship full of Arusian and Drule children, including Voltricia who was captured. Lotor laughs at the Alliance for their sentimentality and orders his forces to attack the Alliance fleet. Both Voltrons take heavy damage fighting the insane Robeast horde but they are turning the tide of the battle. Lotor's generals beg him to retreat because their ships are losing to the Alliance forces but Lotor refuses, knowing he is safe because the enemy will not fire on his particular ship while he has his young prisoners. At last the Robeasts are destroyed and the Demos forces routed, but Lotor demands the Alliance forces surrender to him anyway or he will kill all his captives. The Alliance forces are unsure how to proceed. EPISODE SEVENTEEN: Keith attempts to bargain with Lotor, telling him if he kills his prisoners there is no way he will escape alive. Lotor tells Keith he is ready to die to humiliate the Voltron Force and break their spirit by murdering the children. Queen Koraal is hysterical and the Demos generals realize Lotor is crazy and will sacrifice their lives to have revenge. Realizing if Lotor follows through with his plan, they will not escape, the generals order Lotor taken into custody. Lotor fights viciously but is at last overcome. The Demos leaders tell the Alliance leaders they will let the children go if they are given safe passage from Arus. Keith and Princess Allura agree. The children are sent to the Alliance in a ship and the Demos command ship leaves the planet. EPISODE EIGHTEEN: On Planet Arus, the weary warriors rest from fighting. Keith comforts Allura as she grieves for Coran. The lake has swallowed up the remains of the Castle of Lions. Allura vows to build a new castle and restore Arus to its glory. Sven comforts Romelle as she grieves for Bandor. Hazar and Dorma talk about Hazar's love for Allura, made even stronger by this recent conflict. Dorma tells him he must go to her at once, because she fears it may be too late now that Keith and Allura are reunited. Having been in terror for Allura's life, Keith decides to reveal his long-held feelings for Allura, telling her he held back because he did not feel worthy of her and her royal position, and also feeling he had a duty to the Galaxy Alliance because part of his loyalty oath was never to become involved with an alien dignitary. He confesses his jealousy of Sven who resigned from the Alliance to be with Romelle, and that nine years away from Allura has only made his feelings for her stronger. He tells her he tried to bury them by focusing on his career, but it did not work. Allura confesses her love for him, and the reason she never told him is because she never knew if he felt the same and could not bear the thought of him rejecting her if he did not. Keith swears that after this battle is over and Lotor put down once and for all, he will never leave Allura again. At long last, Keith and Allura passionately kiss. All of this is watched and overheard by Hazar. EPISODE NINETEEN: The Demos command ship returns to Planet Demos. Lotor is to be put on trial. However, some of the Demos nobles are loyal to him. They also know they have succeeded in conquering most of the planets in the galaxy and want to hold on to this power. They scheme to free Lotor and restore him to the throne. The Demos nobles loyal to Queen Koraal debate what to do about their position in the galaxy. They wish to hold on to the territory they have conquered, but the success of this plan was based on the neutralization of the Voltron Lions, which has ultimately failed. The nobles decide they must again assassinate the Voltron members and do whatever they can to destroy the Lions, and now the ships of the Vehicle Team as well. The nobles also decide Lotor must be executed because he is too dangerous to be kept alive. Koraal is heart-sick over Lotor, who she still obsessively loves. She goes to him, and Lotor pledges his love for her and manipulates her into setting him free. He immediately takes her hostage and gets in touch with Demos nobles loyal to him. They have each of the Demos generals who betrayed Lotor on Arus assassinated. Lotor beats Koraal for not interfering in his temporary overthrow and swears if she ever crosses him again, he will kill her. On Planet Doom, Haggar and Zarkon discuss recent events and the return of Voltron. Zarkon laughs, knowing that even both Voltrons and the entire Galaxy Alliance will be no match for his ultimate weapon, which is nearing completion. EPISODE TWENTY: On Planet Arus, Keith and the others contact Space Marshal Hawkins on Earth to report their victory. They also report it is only the first stage of the campaign to free the planets recently taken captive by the Demos Empire. The Galaxy Alliance leaders meet to discuss their strategy to free the Danubian Galaxy. The first act will be to send a diplomatic mission to address the Demos Empire, attempting to negotiate a peaceful withdrawal from the captured planets with no further hostilities. If that effort is unsuccessful, the first war proposal is that the enemy's strength must be determined, so reconnaissance missions should be sent. Once that information has been gathered, the fleet will engage in a sequence of planet-hopping, freeing one planet after another and leaving a garrison force 'til all the planets are free. The second proposal is to launch an all-out attack against Planet Demos itself. Once Demos is taken, the rest of their forces will have little choice but to surrender. The third proposal is to split up the fleet and attack as many planets as they can at once, freeing them. This will permit more Alliance members to be freed from captivity as possible and also prevent the Demos forces from using them as human shields. The disadvantage of this plan is the thin spreading of the huge Alliance fleet. It is decided to separate the fleet and attack several planets at once if peace negotiations fail. A message requesting negotiations is sent to the Demos Empire, and the Alliance forces anxiously await a reply. EPISODE TWENTY-ONE On Planet Demos, Lotor receives the Galaxy Alliance's message. He decides to pretend that he is no longer in command of Demos, and set up a fake negotiations to lure at least some of the members of the Voltron Force into a trap so they can be killed and Voltron again neutralized. He makes Koraal act as diplomat for the Demos Empire. Koraal contacts Princess Allura and requests a meeting on the Sand Planet. Princess Allura agrees. Hazar does not trust Demos and suggests that all Voltron Force members remain with the Alliance fleet in case of treachery. Keith supports that proposal except for himself—as commanding officer of the Alliance fleet it is his duty to meet with the enemy. Also, Princess Allura is capable of flying the Black Lion and there are enough Voltron members present who could pilot the rest of the Lions if something happened to him. An envoy from Planet Arus leaves for the Sand Planet. Vehicle Team Voltron remains at Planet Arus to guard it. On the Sand Planet, Lotor and the Demos forces prepare a trap, but are watched by the Sand People, including Sandy. EPISODE TWENTY-TWO The Galaxy Alliance diplomatic group arrives at the Sand Planet. They send down a shuttle to the top of a rock plateau, the designated meeting area. There, they meet Koraal and representatives from the Demos Empire. As the meeting gets underway, from the Alliance ship Princess Allura sees a signal from the Sand People. Using the viewscreen, she recognizes Sandy and sees the Sand People are agitated. They indicate something is buried in the sand. Princess Allura orders Lance, Hunk, Sven and Pidge to the Lions just in case. At the meeting, as Keith and Koraal are preparing to sign a treaty, suddenly the Demos representatives pull weapons and attack. Keith is shot, and Hazar, who accompanied the diplomats, pulls him to safety. Demos ships buried in the sand begin to rise to attack the Alliance team. The Lions, standing at ready, form Voltron and attack the Demos ships. A Robeast is launched. Hazar puts Keith over his shoulder and escapes down the side of the plateau pursued by Demos soldiers. Voltron fights and destroys the Robeast. Koraal and the Demos generals escape to one of their ships and flee. Keith and Hazar are rescued, but the doctor's prognosis for Keith is not good. Hazar comforts Allura who is devastated. On Planet Arus, the homecoming is bitter. It is decided that the attack will move forward. The fleet will be separated into seven components and liberate Planets Pollux, Mora, Ebb, Nemon, Yadl, Olion, and Titus. Lion Voltron will initially accompany the attack on Pollux, and Vehicle Voltron the attack on Ebb. Once again, the Voltron Forces prepare for war. |

EPISODE TWENTY-THREE:
The Galaxy Alliance attacks. The Polluxan fleet commanded by Romelle along with the Lion Force Voltron arrives at Planet Pollux. They are met by a Demos fleet in Polluxan space. A Robeast is launched against them. Vehicle Voltron and an Alliance fleet attack Planet Ebb. They are met with similar resistance. Each of the other planets are attacked by Alliance space forces. Back on Planet Arus, Keith lies in a coma aboard the Excalibur. Hazar comes to see him, and contemplates pulling the plug and then re-connecting it to make it look like Keith died, but resists his evil thoughts, deciding it is dishonorable and he must abide by whatever happens. On Planet Pollux, the tide turns in favor of the Alliance. Voltron destroys the Robeast. The Demos space fleet is defeated and its survivors retreat. The Alliance land at the royal palace and infiltrate it. After a bloody shootout in the palace, Planet Pollux is set free. On Planet Ebb, Vehicle Voltron is punctured by a Robeast and then nerve-gassed. Several of the Vehicle Team members are overcome by the deadly gas. The Demos forces repel the Alliance fleet that collects the battered Voltron and retreats. EPISODE TWENTY-FOUR: The Alliance attack on Planet Mora meets with success, the Robeast destroyed and the Demos forces driven away. However, the Alliance is defeated at Nemon and Yadl. The battle still rages at Olion and Lion Force Voltron and their fleet race to the rescue. Voltron arrives at Olion, battles the Robeast and destroys it, and then the Alliance ground forces land to storm the Olion capital city. They are met with Demos tanks and an underground Robeast that attacks the Alliance ground forces from below. Lion Voltron separates and goes underground in search of the Robeast. They find it in a huge underground chamber, re-form Voltron, and drag the Robeast to the surface where they finish it off. The citadel of Olion is liberated and the Alliance wins the day. Then Lion Voltron gets the news of Vehicle Voltron's defeat and the wounding of some of its members. Pidge's brother Chip is among the Vehicle Team members poisoned by the nerve gas. The Voltron Force heads back to Planet Arus. EPISODE TWENTY-FIVE: Lion Voltron returns to Planet Arus. Aboard the Excalibur, the Voltron Force visits its wounded members. Professor Page tells Princess Allura and the Voltron Force that Chip was the most badly gassed, and his chances of survival are slim because of the nerve damage. His major organs are shutting down and only the machines are keeping him alive. As next-of-kin, it must be Pidge's choice to keep Chip alive by machine or to let him go. Pidge is crushed, and he is comforted by Allura and the Voltron Force. Allura goes to visit Keith and tells him of her sorrows. She begs him to pull through. Hazar comes to her and comforts her. Dr. Gorma rushes to Professor Page and the Alliance commanders, telling them that the poison used on the Vehicle Voltron Force is derived from similar sources as the poison flowers Zarkon sent to Arus many years ago, and the Rose of Lyra might be able to counter its effects. Lion Voltron and an Alliance attack force is scrambled immediately for Lyra. EPISODE TWENTY-SIX: The Alliance and Lion Voltron arrive at Planet Lyra. Surprisingly, they find only token resistance. They land, and collect the Roses of Lyra for the medicine. Suddenly, the skies are black with Demos warships, Lotor's command ship among them. Lotor reveals it was a trap, that he knew the Voltron Force would come running to Lyra once they realized they could heal their friends from the poison used on Planet Ebb. The Alliance forces are unable to call for help, their communications disrupted by the Demos forces. The Alliance ships are quickly overwhelmed by the superior numbers of the Demos forces. Three Robeasts are launched against Voltron, including the same nerve-gas beast from Planet Ebb. Voltron destroys one of the Robeasts and battles the other two. On Planet Arus, Hazar and the Alliance realize something is wrong and send reinforcements to Lyra. Will they be too late? Voltron destroys the other Robeast but is nerve-gassed by the Planet Ebb beast. However, Voltron is not punctured so the gas does not penetrate. Lotor's fleet pummels Voltron when he is not in direct contact with the Robeast. The Alliance fleet arrives and attacks Lotor's armada from behind. Lotor's armada turns to face them. Voltron destroys the poison Robeast and attacks Lotor's flagship. Lotor escapes as his flagship is destroyed. The Demos forces retreat. The Alliance forces return to Arus and use the Roses of Lyra to make medicine for Chip and the others poisoned by the Robeast. They do not recover immediately, and Dr. Gorma tells them it is still touch and go. EPISODE TWENTY-SEVEN On Planet Demos, Lotor and his generals scheme ways to neutralize the Voltron Force. They go to the Demos witch Sargon and obtain a magical computer virus with which to infect the Voltron Lions and vehicles. A commando team is dispatched to Planet Arus to release the virus. On Planet Arus, all of the poisoned Voltron Force members have recovered except for Chip. Pidge will not leave his side, and Hunk comforts him. Dorma and Lance begin a flirtation. Hazar and Allura are becoming closer as they are the leaders of Planet Arus and the Drules. The commandos arrive on Arus and, helped by the Drule traitors who pledged loyalty to Lotor, obtain access to the Voltron Lions and vehicles. Each of the ships is infected with the magic virus. The commandos depart and escape, reporting their mission a success. Lotor leaves Planet Demos with another space fleet and a Super-Robeast, Witch Sargon in tow. The Demos forces attack, and the Lions and Voltron vehicles are scrambled, but they go out-of-control and crash. Lotor launches the Robeast. The Excalibur and the Alliance fleet fly to meet Lotor's forces. EPISODE TWENTY-EIGHT: Lotor sends the commando team to capture Princess Allura from the crashed Black Lion. The commandos surround the Lion and begin to cut open the Lion's head with laser torches. Allura uses her uniform communicator to call for help. Hazar leads a force to her aid. The battle between the Alliance forces and Lotor's armada is going badly for the Alliance. The Super-Robeast is slicing through their ships. Suddenly the mechanisms on the Excalibur go crazy. The commandos infected its systems, too! The Excalibur begins to crash. Hazar's team arrives at the Black Lion as the commandos are tearing open its head. Hazar's team and the commandos fight. Only Hazar survives to confront the commando captain who has taken Allura prisoner. The captain signals Lotor to come pick him up. Lotor sends a ship to fetch them. The pilots of Excalibur are able to maneuver it enough to crash into a lake, where it floats. But Lotor has sent the Super-Robeast to complete the Alliance command ship's destruction! The ship arrives to pick up the Demos commando captain and Princess Allura. Hazar uses a grappling hook to grab on to the ship as it flies away. He leaps down as it lands in the docking bay of Lotor's ship, guns blazing. The commando captain drags Allura out of the ship covered by Demos soldiers. Since Allura is on board and it appears the battle is won, Lotor orders his ship to return to Demos with his prize. But as they attempt to leave, they are intercepted by Queen Romelle and the Polluxan fleet, come to aid Planet Arus and the Alliance. EPISODE TWENTY-NINE: Romelle's forces pummel Lotor's command ship, not knowing Allura is on board. The docking hangar takes a hit and in the confusion, Hazar jumps the commando captain, freeing Allura. She takes up a gun and shoots at the Demos soldiers as Hazar and the commando captain fight. A hole is blasted in the ship and Hazar throws the captain out of it. They debate taking a ship and escaping but they know Voltron is down and don't know how to revive him. Allura and Hazar decide on a desperate gamble: They will capture Lotor and force the Demos armada to retreat. They leave the hangar, capture a Demos soldier, and force him to take them to the bridge. Hazar puts on a dead Demos soldier's uniform and mask to make it look like they are delivering Allura to Lotor. The Super-Robeast has gone underwater and is attacking the submerged part of the Excalibur in an attempt to sink it. Submersible Alliance ships are deployed against the Robeast to no avail. Hazar and Allura arrive in the control room of the Demos ship. As Lotor approaches Allura to take possession of her, Hazar grabs him and puts his knife to Lotor's throat, ordering the Demos forces to cancel the attack. Lotor refuses to comply. A terrified Koraal orders the Demos forces to obey, which they do. Lotor rages at her as she weeps. The Super-Robeast stops attacking the sinking Excalibur, and returns to the departing Demos Armada. The Alliance forces are confused, not knowing what has happened. Hazar and Allura take Lotor with them to the hangar, intending to escape with their prisoner and use him as a bargaining chip to end the war. Once in the hangar, the distraught Koraal consents to Allura and Hazar's demand they be given a pilot and a ship to fly them back to Arus. If the Demos forces return to attack, Lotor will be killed. Lotor snarls that Allura could never do anything so dishonorable but Hazar reminds him that is not the way of the Drule Empire and Hazar has not put aside everything he was taught for the sake of the Alliance. Allura and Hazar depart with their prisoner. The Demos Armada returns to their home planet. Allura and Hazar land on Planet Arus to find the other Alliance ships trying to save the Excalibur which has taken heavy damage and is sinking in the lake. They also must find a way to heal the Lions and the Voltron Vehicles. EPISODE THIRTY The Galaxy Alliance ships are able to attach cables to the Excalibur and lift it from the lake, depositing it in a field. Repairs are begun but the computer systems are still deactivated due to the virus. The Alliance computer experts are confused as to what to do, having never seen anything like it. Princess Allura goes to the lake where the Castle of Lions once was and prays. An image of King Alfor appears over the water and speaks to her, revealing the virus is both magical and technological in nature, so its cure must be the same. He tells her that records of that knowledge, while destroyed in the Castle of Lions, still exist on Earth in archives of information that were kept when Alfor loaned his science to the Alliance to create Vehicle Voltron. But the very nature of the information is so secret and holy that it cannot be transmitted across space. Someone must go to Earth to the archives and bring it back to Arus before the Voltrons and the Excalibur can be healed. Jeff, Cliff, Krik, Lisa, Dorma, Lance and Hunk take a ship to go to Earth. Pidge stays behind with his brother Chip, still comatose but stable. Princess Allura and Hazar contact the Demos Empire, requesting a true peace and end to the war now that Lotor is captive. The rest of the Voltron Force and the Alliance debate with each other what will happen now. Sven and Romelle go to Lotor's cell and confront him. Romelle tells him that one day she will kill him and send him to Hell to avenge the deaths of her father and brothers, his physical violation of her body when she was his prisoner, and the countless crimes he has committed in his evil life. But, she tells him, she will not kill him when he is a helpless prisoner because she has more honor than that. Lotor spits at her and calls her a slut and vows to kill her, Sven, and their child before he is done, but not before he has his way with her one last time. Sven starts to de-activate the laser bars so he can enter Lotor's cell and fight him when the guards interrupt them. Sven and Romelle depart, as Lotor laughs at them. EPISODE THIRTY-ONE Queen Koraal wants to end all hostilities to get Lotor back. The Demos nobles suggest rescuing Lotor and launching an all-out attack against Planet Arus to wipe them out once and for all while the Voltrons are inoperative. But treacherous Demos nobles have no intention of freeing Lotor. Instead, they plan to fail on purpose so Lotor is killed and then rule the Danubian Galaxy themselves since Koraal is weak. They plant an agent in the extraction team to kill Lotor. The mission to Earth arrives and is met by Space Marshal Hawkins. They are taken to a secret location beneath Galaxy Garrison, where the knowledge of Voltron's technology is contained. The information is kept in an ancient book, a grimoire. But there is a warning: Only members of the royal blood of Arus may touch it, and Allura stayed behind on Arus! The team immediately contacts Princess Allura, who says she will come immediately. However, she is stopped by Queen Orla, her aunt, who says she will go to Earth because she can touch the book. Allura agrees, since this means she can remain on Arus and lead her people. Queen Orla heads for Earth. Queen Koraal contacts the Galaxy Alliance and tells them she will accept their terms: For Lotor's release, the Demos Empire will withdraw from all free planets in the Danubian Galaxy. Hazar tells her that Demos must withdraw first and this must be confirmed because of their treachery on the Sand Planet, to show good faith. Koraal agrees and ends the transmission. The Demos generals re-energize the Super-Robeast and give him an honor guard of four more Robeasts, and head for Planet Arus. EPISODE THIRTY-TWO: On Planet Doom, Zarkon, Haggar and their generals inspect the progress on Doom's ultimate weapon, but it is not clear what exactly it is, except that it is huge. The chief technician informs Zarkon that soon, they will be able to activate the weapon. They also inspect progress on the new Castle Doom, bigger and more fearsome than its predecessor. Zarkon is greeted with cheers by the people of Doom. He assures them that soon they will reclaim their rightful place as masters of the galaxy. Queen Orla arrives on Earth and is taken to the secret chamber. She takes the Grimoire and she and the Voltron members head back to Planet Arus. Scout ships are sent to the captive planets to observe progress of Demos's withdrawal. However, they report back that nothing seems to be happening. Then the scout ships are destroyed by Demos fighters. The Demos extraction team lands on Planet Arus and makes their way to the prison. The Demos armada attacks Planet Arus again, the Super-Robeast and its honor guard in the lead. The Voltron Force pilot Alliance attack ships and go to meet the enemy in a big battle in the sky. The extraction team infiltrates the prison where Lotor is held, kills the guards, and frees Lotor. They take him toward the ship. The assassin detonates a bomb to distract the others, making them think it was a laser blast from the battle above, then tries to kill Lotor, but Lotor is quicker and slays the assassin. He realizes that someone in Demos was trying to have him killed. Lotor escapes with the extraction team, ordering them to take him to Demos instead of returning to the command ship leading the attack. The battle is going very badly for the Alliance forces, as they are no match for the Super-Robeast and its cohorts. EPISODE THIRTY-THREE: As the battle in the skies of Arus rages, the Voltron Force members who went to Earth arrive with Queen Orla. They hurry to the Excalibur and Princess Allura goes to meet them. Allura takes the Grimoire but she can't read it—neither could Queen Orla but she thought Allura might be able to. But it is revealed Allura's friends the sentient Space Mice are able to read the ancient text and relate it to her. She collects the five keys of the Lions, places them on the computer. She then types ancient words of power into the computer as she chants a spell. Golden energy flows from the keys into the Excalibur's computer systems. This energy purges the virus completely and the Excalibur's systems come on line. The Voltron Vehicles, connected to the Excalibur, are also healed, and Vehicle Team Voltron is scrambled immediately with Pidge flying Chip's ship. But the Lions must be healed one by one, the keys placed into the control panel and the same spells uttered. Allura rushes to each Lion. Vehicle Team Voltron combine and engage the Robeasts, destroying two of the Super-Robeasts' guards. The Excalibur also launches and enters the battle against the Demos fleet. The Voltron Lions are healed, and Allura, Lance, Sven, Hunk and Dorma enter the fight and form Lion Voltron. Lion Voltron destroys the other two Robeast guards and teams up with Vehicle Voltron to fight the Super-Robeast. Together, they overpower and destroy it. The Super-Robeast destroyed, the Demos armada retreats and the day is won. Lotor and the extraction team arrive on Planet Demos ahead of the defeated Armada. Lotor calls all his generals and leading nobles together. The traitors are mortified to learn Lotor has escaped. Lotor calls the Witch Sargon to make each of the nobles and generals drink a truth potion to find out who the traitors are. Even Koraal is forced to drink, and she tearfully confesses she had no part of the scheme. But the other nobles drink and the traitors are revealed. Lotor has them herded into the center of the throneroom and gunned down without mercy. The defeated Armada then returns, contacting Lotor and Koraal and revealing that somehow the Voltrons were healed from the virus. In a rage, Lotor turns his laser sword on the Witch Sargon. He then orders the castle guns to fire on the returning Demos command ship, destroying it and its commander who one of the nobles was forced to confess was in on the scheme before he was executed. Lotor then orders everyone out so he can think about what to do now the Voltrons are back. |
