Attachment help.

I want to post an 7 page excerpt from a G.I. Joe novel I'm writing but don't want to copy/paste the text to a thread. I have it in .pdf format and wanted to just post it like a pic for somebody to just download and read. Is there any way to post a .pdf attachment without hyperlinking?

You might have to email the pdf to the members who want it, because the attachment system here will only let you attach image files like .jpg, .gif., .png, et al.

I was doing that. But I sorta wanted to generate something to gauge fan input. I also didn't want to copy/paste an insane amount of text on the forum because of 1) copyright issues, and 2) just taking up space on the forum.

No worries, I'll find someplace to host that it can just be directly downloaded.

There are plenty of places that you can upload text to and then give a direct download link. Check out Zuludelta's filecard thread. His stuff is all PDF and he provides a direct link in the post that opens the PDF document. It works pretty slick.
