I went to check back and refresh a thread about target exclusives being canceled and it gave me a no permission error. How do I tell what happened in these cases? I can only GUESS that a couple people turned it into a rancid debate thread and it got shut down, but it seems so crazy that anyone would do that it was just about a target wave getting cancelled. Can any one confirm for a n00bie if this is what happened? Does it happen often?
oh yes and is there a board just for asking questions? Most of my questions would be about Joe stuff the few I have asked was under the GI Joe General Discussion board Last edited by B.A.T.tyBelfry; 03-23-2010 at 08:20 AM.. |

Actually, on second thought, perhaps the tone of my post was a bit mean or condescending. haha. But my original point still stands. |

Sometimes I am amazed at how... passionate people get over bits of plastic. Over at TFW2005, there was a thread with people being pissed about a certain exclusive and how hard it would be to get, or how expensive and how it just wasn't right. My response was that it was just a toy and people needed to chill. I then got a dozen angy responses with everything ranging from "You know nothing..." to "When I was a kid, my parents cound never afford these toys so now that I have money..." blah, blah, cry me a river, blah.
Actually, on second thought, perhaps the tone of my post was a bit mean or condescending. haha. But my original point still stands. When they make a TRU exclusive like Arctic Doc they ensure people are going to scalp them on ebay, hasbro could easily avoid this practice with a little bit of strategic planning on the part of their exclusives. I am one of those people who refuse to pay jacked up prices, so because the scalpers are buying up all the exclusives, I my collection and my family will just have to do without those figs. Not really fair for an honest collector. |

that's what slaughterhouse contests are for. so you don't have to pay anything for rare stuff.
