I tried to update my user avatar but don't see an option to upload one or even link to one. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

Go Into user CP and then look on the left hand side where it says edit avatar.

Thank you for the reply. I did and this is the options I see.

Am I missing something? Over at tfw2k there are a lot more options to choose from.

Ok I'm greatly increasing my knowledge of computers and how to use them....but for the life of me, I have no idea how to go about altering or cropping a pic so that it will fit into my avatar slot?? what am i not doing right? Can I get an assist here"?

I wish that I could direct you properly......but honestly? I just play around with the cropping and stuff until it looks like what I want and the upload takes!!

You probably want to wait for some other 'weigh ins'.......;)

I use "the gimp" to crop photos. It's a free program similar to photochop.
