Can't post replies to tech support threads?

Here's a weird issue I'm observing--I'm not allowed to make replies to threads in the Tech Support forums specifically. I've attempted on a number of occasions, but have never been able to do so. I have no such restrictions elsewhere (as far as I can tell), and I can make new threads (such as the one you're reading)--I just can't reply to existing ones. And yes, this is in regards to threads that are still open, since closed threads do not have an option to reply.

Bump. I'm still unable to post replies in other peoples' Tech Support threads. Been about 5 years now (time flies!).
