Here's a weird issue I'm observing--I'm not allowed to make replies to threads in the Tech Support forums specifically. I've attempted on a number of occasions, but have never been able to do so. I have no such restrictions elsewhere (as far as I can tell), and I can make new threads (such as the one you're reading)--I just can't reply to existing ones. And yes, this is in regards to threads that are still open, since closed threads do not have an option to reply.

Hey there man! I actually tried to reply to this ages ago... but I couldn't reply in a tech support thread !

It seems that you have to be a mod or greater in order to do so.

I've linked the thread to Tony, so he can check it out. He's pretty busy, so I don't think he checks all the threads as much as we Mods do, but if we message him directly, he's usually pretty quick. I'll also mention the issue with replying in the Tech Support Forum and see if that's intended or a mistake.

That's correct; I can only reply to my own thread and not to other peoples' threads (in the event I wanted to provide feedback). And thank you for helping look into it.

The Tech Support forum is designed this way. Members can post issues in a new thread. Only staff can reply. Keeps the chit chat, wrong info, unknown info, to a minimum. Problem -> Staff response, is desired outcome.

Are we the best at answering problems - nope. BUT, this is the original intent for doing this.

For anyone reading - if you see an issue mentioned in tech support, and you ALSO have that problem, post a new thread. That way we see there are multiple people with same thing quickly by scanning the new threads in here.

If you have a potential answer to another person's problem, also post a new thread describing the problem, then your solution.

RE: Customs thread issue - that was a technical glitch related to the name of the thread title. It's been adjusted and working normal again.
