Oh I wonder if this issue suffered from a lack of familiarity with the Revanche logo? New readers who haven't been following ARAH but jumped on the hype train might not realize that we know what to expect from these kinds of facilities and we knew it wasn't a Cobra base. However the animal horror aspect was a new wrinkle in the Revanche model.

I understand why it would make sense to use the SNAKE armor in a base like this, they would just need to modestly alter the plotline to be a Cobra base instead of a Revanche base.

I highly doubt that it would suffer (in what sense?) because of a single logo. If anything, I think it would make a new reader curious to learn more about it, not unlike the mysterious tattoos seen on Snakes Eyes and Storm Shadow in #21.

…or modify the back story (easy enough) of how Snake Armors came to be, and have them be a Cobra customer/Revanche produced partnership product.

Went to the comic store last night and am catching up on some of these Silent issues I missed.

I straight-up hated this issue. Thought it was just awful. The story with the robot bear was dumb as f*** and the nonsense with Freedom being a super-intelligent bird who attacks enemies and protects Spirit with hyper-strategic precision was even worse. The comparison to Eagly earlier in this thread is spot-on. This isn't G.I. Joe. It's a really lame superhero story wearing a G.I. Joe mask.
