Rock 'n Roll is dead, Stalker and Cover Girl are wounded, Clutch is MIA (but, unbeknownst to the Joes, survived and infiltrated Cobra in disguise as a Viper), and Cobra escapes with the shard of Cybertronian tech. Not a particularly good beginning for our heroes.

The Valkyries are introduced and given a specific purpose within Cobra: they're the cleanup crew that gets sent to execute the wounded after a battle and "send them to Valhalla."

In true Sunbow fashion, we're starting off with a plot about Cobra hunting down multiple exotic components for its new plan, and next they're after Dr. Archibald Monev and the Brainwave Scanner.

Hope they have the balls to keep dead characters dead. If there's no stakes, why bother reading?

Risk sure came off as a "Gary Stu" didn't he? Reminds me of when they introduced Drift in the Transformers comics all those years ago.

Still very sad that this continuity is bound up with Transformers at all. However, these are turning into good interpretations of the characters.

This is already one of the better versions of Baroness. Clutch is stealing the show. Risk is *obviously* designed to be hated by the readers (future Snake-Eyes, anyone?)

I am enjoying this Mercer a lot. Hopefully the creative team keeps Cobra together and doesn't fracture them along faction lines.
