They'd go for his vocal cords. Didn't like how over-powered they made him compared to the rest of the Joes. It's like he was Sunbow's answer to Larry Hama's Snake-Eyes. I think what I like about this new Joe team (so far) is that they're a team of soldiers (and Baroness) again. There doesn't seem to be a real show-off (though Duke has had a moment or two).

Alright, I just got may issue in the mail. I have to say, I am loving it so far. Joshua Williamson loves this franchise, and it shows. Are we really not going to talk about Dr Monev ? When was the last time we say Dr venom outside of ARAH? I agree that having a major death this early raises the stakes and is more realistic. Shows some backbone by writing staff. Rock n Roll will be playing in our hearts forever.

It's an '80s device that was cool in limited use but - like Serpentor - the gimmick wears off rather quickly. Sunbow Doc would've reverse engineered one of these things to plug members of Cobra into to make them good people. Drooling, good people.

It's funny you mentioned Sunbow Doc. I was just thinking how the series tacked-on the roles of scientist and engineer.
