ARAH #1 (Marvel, 1982, Hama/Trimpe)
G.I. Joe #1 (DDP, 2001, Blaylock/Kurth) G.I. Joe #1 (IDW, 2009, Dixon/Atkins) ARAH #155.5 (IDW, 2010, Hama/Padilla) ARAH #301 (Skybound, 2023, Hama/Mooneyham) G.I. Joe #1 (Skybound, 2024, Williamson/Reilly) Of these six issues listed above, do you have one that you consider a favorite? The poll only includes titles with more than ten issues and the current Skybound titles. Not interested in specials, crossovers, team-ups, cartoons, obscure minis, trades, etc. If nothing else, I thought it'd be fun to share in appreciation of these issues rather than complaints. Not that complaints ever occur.

Same. But, I like the Chuck Dixon run too. I was a big fan of Birds of Prey, so it meant something when he took on my childhood favorite. I even managed to get that issue signed by him.

The original is the runaway hit (at this stage) but - as much as I am a fan of AE - I kinda dodged AE intentionally because the explanatory title wasn't *just* G.I. Joe and wasn't fully ARAH. Outside the early works of MC Hama, though, AE is probably the one I've read most. Frontline was also a good one (and one I think you recommended to me at some point).
