I didn?t see anything about this posted elsewhere, so I thought I?d call attention to the sale that ends soon! I?ve always thought Battle Action Force was a cool continuity, and I tend to prefer a lot of their origin stories (Baroness a radicalized German socialite, Major Blidd really ruthless?) and some of the b+w art is really amazing (Vanyo, I think?). There were some reprints published years ago, and I love them, but they were a little small and a little blurry. This set looks to correct all that. So, if anyone is curious, there?s more good Joe out there! |

I've received my 3 volumes in the UK. They really are very good. Volume 3 with the great Z-force stories illustrated by the Vanyo brothers is special for me given the nostalgia of reading them weekly as a kid.
I hope they get a chance to reprint the Action Force vs Cobra stories , but I'm very happy with these Action Force vs Red Shadows volumes. |

I'm jealous you guys got yours already! I'm anxious for mine to show up!
I also should have been clearer in my initial post: these are the continuity before Baron Ironblood remade himself into Cobra Commander, but they are still great! |

I've got mine. These are absolutely beautiful reprints. Lovingly restored to a better condition than the original print release!
These focus on the Ironblood/ Red shadow era of Sction force. I hope that it is a big success and the Cobra era volumes will follow. I did a couple of episodes on this, the first one is here https://youtube.com/live/UGV8kPfnfms?feature=share |
