Why do Zarana and Zandar have to not get along? It would be cool if they did, because it gives Zarana a new dimension besides being steered in the direction of Zartan all the time. Let Zarana & Zandar be as inseparably close as....

Speaking as a father of twins, I can tell you that my kids rarely get along. Every day is non-stop screaming at each other over petty nonsense.

True, though I don't recall seeing any evidence that Zandar and Zarana *don't* get along. More importantly, ARAH isn't about the relationship between two supporting characters. Zandar and Zarana are just two of many supporting characters. They are no more or less as important to the story as Cover Girl, Snow Job, or Beach Head. All cool characters in their own way, but there's never going to be a lot of development for the supporting characters as it would take away from the main storyline...

a few options:
1. The Joes know that if they don't save Baroness, their enemies will become even more evil. Better the devil you know...
2. The Joes know that Cobra will dissolve without the Baroness, which will then subject GI Joe to Elon and Vivek's scrutiny, and GI Joe as an organization will be DOGE'd.
3. The Joes know that the readership of GI Joe: ARAH will dry up if Baroness dies, so they have to save Baroness or they will cease to exist.

Probably one of those.

Zartan and Storm Shadow have long ago made peace.

Zartan and Cobra Commander have not been on good terms in hundreds of issues.

The Dreadnoks are loyal to Zartan.

The Dreadnoks helped the Joes during Snake Hunt very prevalently, leading a subterfuge into Springfield and using the Thunder Machine to rescue many Joes, including wounded, most of whom are currently present and working with them again. These particular Joes are on VERY good social terms with the Dreadnoks.

If Zartan's character arc were plotted alongside Tommy's, Zartan's journey to being a redeemed GiJoe team member would be about where Tommy was during the Benzheen War.
