Hello, all --
It's been a while, but I just wanted to pop in to let y'all know that GI Joe #7 is free to read during September, for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. You can check it out, here: https://idwpublishing.com/g-i-joe-7-...and-resources/ I am beyond proud of this issue, and proud of IDW Publishing and Hasbro for making it available for everyone. Along with the usual creative team, combat vet and therapist Duane France and Dr. Patricia Watson & Peggy Willoughby of the Veterans Affairs National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder consulted on the issue. I'd also note that the initial request to make this available for free came from the South Carolina Dept of Mental Health as part of the Governor’s Challenge to Prevent Suicide Among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. You can read more about that effort here: https://www.samhsa.gov/smvf-ta-cente...ors-challenges. I sincerely hope everyone here is doing well and holding up during these strange times. Best, Paul |

I'm still waiting for my comic shop to get it in. (It's on my pull list and did not arrive on the release date.) The store owner is just as frustrated as me with Diamond's lackluster deliveries schedule.

I read it last night and shared the link with some nerdy friends. That was my first issue of your G.I. Joe series, but it was a remarkable "very special issue." You treated heavy and important topics with the honesty and empathy they deserved.
