I hope that these types of stories continue with the next publisher. My only request for future stories would be to go all in on the Sunbow cartoon tie-in:
1. Like each of the old miniseries, these should be 5 episodes, not 4. 2. There should be a "To be continued..." at the end of the first 4 issues, in the same white font as appeared in the cartoon. 3. The Sunbow cartoon was not on Saturdays. It was on weekday afternoons. Just call it "The Cartoon Adventures." 4. Midway through each comic, have an ad page, followed by a panel with "Now back to G.I.JOE!" If the ad page wouldn't work in a trade paperback, then make the ad an homage to some totally rad thing from the 80s. |

I loved this series and am bummed it is over. It was more enjoyable than ARAH as of late. I think ARAH should lean a *little* more in this direction if it continues past #300.

Any idea if there will be a trade paperback collecting all the issues? I always just but TPBs.

Or they could do what DC has done with their recent DCAU tie-in runs like Justice League Infinity & Batman The Adventure Continues and come up with titles that match some aspects of Marvel and Sunbow's cartoon from the 1980s.

I'd like to know that too. I just recently got the trade paperback of Batman The Adventure Continues at a Vintage Stock and I'm curious to know when the SMA one comes out. I prefer TPBs too.
