So the run of ARAH, SM, and the interpolations all have the same trade dress from the Complete Collection volume 1, along with the Declassified volume. The IDW run uses the covers of the IDW Complete Collection series, but because the issues were printed on 70 lbs. paper I was able to fit the entire run up through Snake Eyes: Agent of Cobra.
So, this took two years. I decided to do it during the pandemic lockdowns and it spiraled out of control. But it?s done. The contents of the Hama volumes are near the start of the thread. Thank you to everyone for your support. Last edited by nightwrite; 03-25-2022 at 06:44 PM.. |

Very nice. Houchen shared your ARAH binds on their facebook page the other week. Lots of Joe pages shared and liked their pics. Would love to see more pics of these

The remaining covers. The backs are the same as the IDW Collection books, except that I retyped the contents.
Got any links to other sites showing them? That's very cool. |

Bumping this because I made a couple of updates. I've been doing a readthrough of ARAH in my custom binds. I'm almost to 275.
Special Missions 7 takes place between issues #63 and #64. Fred/Cobra is trying to get a fisherman to take him to Cobra Island. While he's on the island in the next issue, the Baroness is suddenly there. She explains that she was kicked out of the Cobra Consulate in New York after she failed to stop a mission by Chuckles, Dial Tone and Lady Jaye to bug the satellite communications in the building. She explains why she's there and SM #7 is given a caption reference. I also added a short story called "Hijacked" I found by Hama in G.I. Joe Magazine #1 from 1985, along with the Super Trooper insert, which is a two-page comic. All of the miscellanea is going into a separate volume if and when Hama retires from the book, so I can ensure that there's nothing more from his ARAH that could go in it. |
