I was much more satisfied with the way DDP ended its run, with Snake Eyes and Scarlett finally happy together and with Snake Eyes having his face restored. Sean was able to carry on the Arashikage tradition as Kamakura, which is much preferable to his Fake Eyes persona. Dawn was interesting in the short term, but to me she is just a place holder now.

Oh, I only bring this up because she posted on this thread, but someone should let Dreadnok Twins know that Zandar and Zarana were in the "Sierra Muerte" comic. I'd do it myself, but I'm lazy...

I like Thunder and felt bad for the letter writer who asked for more of the guy, but I was kinda glad to see that Larry has forgotten about killing him off in issue #109. Larry's infamous memory might bring us back some of the earlier beloved characters such as Breaker and Doc, who were mainstays of the team at one point in time and missed to this day.
I liked the issue for the large number of Joes included in the various storylines. Loved seeing Cover Girl back to normal and leading a mission! I'm glad to see that Larry seems to also have forgotten that weird arc he was starting with her sounding like she was possessed or replaced by an android. That would've been a terrible idea. It's great to see her leading old favorites such as Dusty, Leatherneck, Muskrat, and Repeater into what is shaping out to be a dangerous rescue op. Lastly, my first impression of Mindbender's gift to Sightline was one of gratitude, but knowing Mindy, he could have placed a Trojan horse inside that prosthetic leg. I hope I'm wrong there. It was also fun to see Airtight, Tunnel Rat, Law & Order going to pick up the box at the post office wearing their combat gear. This was a good issue.

It’s hard to know what a clone of Dr. Mindbender would really be up to.
I hope he NEVER brings back dead characters by accident without explanation. Good or not, there are plenty of other characters to explore in their place.

Agreed. Sorry, bring back Doc or Breaker and I’m out. As much as I love those characters, their deaths meant that much more because of how beloved they were.
Much respect to Hama, but why he can’t just keep a post it note on his desk as to who’s dead is beyond me. Only about 15 have died. Come on, Larry! Lol |

Seeing as how SE didn’t even make the list, I don’t quite think he’s solved his issue yet, LOL. Oh, by the way, I wrote a letter to post box the pit, asking about SE’s omission, and surprise surprise…no response or letter printed.
