Solid issue. Good action. Not sure if its because Dr. Venom is in it, but it has an original Marvel run vibe to it. The Storm Shadow android is cool. I'm a little unsure about Mindbender's return but I'll hold off on judgement until I see where Hama goes with him. I'm enjoying Ron Joseph's art, too. Between him and Netho Diaz, we've been spoiled. I hope to see more of both of them in these pages.

Weird storyline. It's picking up as if year old issues happened 5 minutes ago? Maybe they could be happening simultaneously, but I imagine Fake-Eyes 1 and Fake-Eyes 2 will stop by any second now and contradict that.
Is this stuff reminding anyone else of the clone saga? Now we got a robot Snake-Eyes (yes). Cloned minds downloaded into clone bodies that then get downloaded into a Snakes-Slayer. I can't wait for the next issue where the entire Joe team will don Snake-Eyes outfits and fight an army of Snakes-Vipers driving the Snakes-mobile. In general this storyline is showing the weakness in Hama's writing style. He can't seem to be able to commit to anything. Get this, Venom is now in Mindbender's body! This is big! J/k, he's already out, but there's a Snake-Eyes bot, this is HUGE! J/k he gets swatted away like an army builder. But now here's the Snake-Eyes slayer, tune in next time! And next time he'll be slapped away in the first panel by a TF and MLP, wearing Snake-Eyes gear, of course. At least we got a couple of semi-legit Joes in it, so that's progress. Would've liked to see the flamethrower and rocket launcher used by flamethrower and rocket launcher Joes. Because we haven't seen those since the 80s. Art was good, too. Every character was recognizable. They should stick with this guy.

Agree on most of this, Nero. I thought this was a nice way to “get rid” of Mindbender. By the time he returned I said to myself “Larry just can’t do it.”
Art was great. |

I dunno. I enjoyed the story. Felt like classic ARAH to me. I think sometimes we lose sight of the fact that we were 10 (ish) when we enjoyed the early issues. I try to read ARAH through the eyes of my 10 year old self.
I was kinda hoping Mindbender was gone for good but no such luck. Are we ever going to see Cobra Commander again?!? It's been forever! Refresh my memory...what is the clone saga? |

Nice Issue, I would like to see Dr. Mindbender killed off again and the real DR. Venom returned from the dead, take his place.

I forgot where Milo came from...? Was he targeting Revanche facilities when they found him?

When Snake Eyes got shot in Vietnam, his blood landed in a rice paddy. Years later when the rice crop was harvested, a piece that had gained his DNA from the soil was eaten by a kid in another country name Milo. He then digested the memories of Snake Eyes and ... well, I don't want to spoil it.

Hey here true believers! skinny here, and boy do we have a tale for you!
Milo showed up way back in issue 245, he stopped Bombstrike from setting off a Revanche alarm and told her about his secret passage to get inside the lab. He was stealing components since Revanche caused his schools in Darklonia to be shut down. XR-23 is the Storm Shadow robot. He first appears in issue 245 as well or at least a close approximation.

I was kinda hoping Mindbender was gone for good but no such luck. Are we ever going to see Cobra Commander again?!? It's been forever! Refresh my memory...what is the clone saga? The clone saga is Spider-Man's jump the shark moment. It's defined by commercialism, excess, self-indulgence, incoherence and tactless overuse of the most annoying comic book cliches. A bloated, years-long crossover full of mysterious plots upon mysterious plots and random twists even the creators didn't know how to resolve, all featuring an endless stream of Peter Parker clones. At the time it was the absolute nadir of Marvel Comics. Hah, seems like such a long time ago... Before the IDW-run is finally put out of its misery, this is what we'll be getting (replace SM with SE):
