I've been reading digital copies of IDW's GI Joe Classics. This has been a great nostalgia rush since I once had a complete Marvel GI Joe collection. As of now I've just finished GI Joe #109 and had a question about the number of story pages in this issue.
This reprint has 19 pages. I know at this time they were printing dossiers (that are not included in the IDW collection) so I understand why it doesn't have the normal 22 pages. What makes me think there's a page missing is it goes from the page ending with Hawk telling Dial Tone, "Tell him that they have to hold out! Help is on the way!" to the next page beginning with Cross Country and Duke pulling Lt. Falcon out of the wreckage of the Cobra tank they were in. There's no page showing the tank blowing up. Is this the way the issue was or is there a page missing? This wouldn't be the first time I've found a missing page in this digital collection. Issue 17 was missing page 11. But to give credit where it's due, when I pointed this out to IDW they had it fixed with an updated version available for download in about a week. |

Yeah, in that case there's a page missing. Only the death of three Joes, so it's not like you missed anything.
Wonder if the print version has the same problem?

Thanks for the confirmation Nero. I've emailed IDW, hopefully they'll address this as fast as they did before.

Nerf, I probably have a digital copy of that issue that's just a scan of the original Marvel version if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer. I've already bought a copy from a local comic shop, scanned the missing page and created a new pdf inserting the missing page where it should be. I'm still hoping IDW will fix it, but I wanted it fixed now. I'm impatient like that.
