I love the Marvel run I just don't care for Hama's current direction. It's like when Claremont came back to the X-men it just wasn't the same.

I think Hama's current work is a mixed bag, with some of the greatest stuff (the Dr Burkhart story) and some of the worst (blue ninjas, PIT eye)...
Back in the day he had some stinker storylines, too. |

Issue 234 was awesome. Great nod to the Soft Master, and a killer sequence between Bombstrike and the Black Major. Bombstrike = badass.

To me the best thing he did was the 2012 annual it was a good self contained story.

i, too, enjoyed ARAH 234 a great deal. i wish there was still an idw message board that just focused on the comic. most i can find are more focused on the toys. i REALLY don't want to see ARAH ever replaced by REVOLUTION. that isn't intended to scare readers, i have heard from a pretty reliable source, that ARAH is already leaving hints that will lead to 250. i just want some advertising for this book.

IDW's continuation of Marvel and Hama's classic continuity continues AND is utilizing more modern toys. It outsells Transformers but needs more readers and letter hacks. [email protected] re:postbox:the pit. this canon is more than a fad, let's proove it. |
