You know what? This title isn't very exciting. It's not bad, but it's really not good. I can't see this doing very well at all.

I think the problem is the first two issues lack pretty much any action. The first two issues set up a lot of background and intro to the story and that makes it slow. I enjoyed #2 but I was disappointed when I got to the last page and realized I would have to wait until #3 for some action. But at least it looks like action is unavoidable in #3, way too many things coming to a head.

Do you think that is something he has control of? I'd be curious to know the answer, although I don't think any of us know.

Clearly Mike Costa and Fred Van Lente are not bound by that code.

I don't know about that. GI Joe 1 and 2 weren't that action packed and they definitely continuous stories, building on an arc. Costa has included one-offs previously though.

Don't get me wrong, when the whole story arc is read at once, dixon's stuff is really good.

I do have to agree with what you said. Im REALLY looking forward to Cobra Files this Wed! I'm hoping that will be the best book out of all of them.

Is that when it comes out? I cant find a place where it lists the official release dates for the comics.
