According to his filecard, Sgt. Stone is the special operations instructor for the G.I. Joe team. Like many members of the ROC joes, Stone wears a black shirt and blue camo pants. He has a black beret that gives him a look much like v2 Gen. Hawk. Stone, however, has black gloves and is a fairly larger figure. A gray vest comes with Stone that maintains a low profile that does not interfere with movement of the arms or positioning of weapons. Stone’s other gear includes a black rifle, a gray pistol, a gray knife, and a spring-loaded missile launcher that stands on the ground.
Sgt. Stone is a nice, sturdy figure that has good articulation. It’s nice to see figures that can easily put both hands on a rifle and raise it to a higher firing position. The head sculpt looks nice with a clean paint application. A lot of care has been made to make this figure easy to pose without getting frustrated. My only gripe is that the gear included with Stone is a bit underwhelming. I’m not a fan of the larger, spring-loaded weapons, but it's good to see one where there is no intention to be hand-held. (In the picture below, I had to put Helix’s missile in the launcher. As I was setting up for the photo, I accidentally fired the one that belonged to Stone across the room. I looked as much as I could and I simply could not find it!) I also don’t really like the rifle and I could only seem to get it to stay in his left hand. I’ll easily find a place for Sgt. Stone along with the rest of my 25th/Modern Era joes, probably with the same job description (although I sense a custom paint scheme coming). Figure rating: 9 out of 10 EDIT: I accidentally grabbed Cover Girl's rifle instead of the one that comes with Sgt. Stone. I've included an extra photo of the proper one.

Stone is EASILY one of my faves in the line thus far. I too have MANY customs planned for him but he's also awesome just as he is. Only shipwreck and Helix are on par with this guy in my opinion.I gave him Heavy duty's desert eagle and will be giving him pps SE's Assault rifle.
PS..his missle stand tube connects to the laptops breaker and cover girl come with. Also some of the missle launchers can connect to the pit like covergirls missle launcher and im sure this will have a place in some upcoming playset.

Yeah, they're big, but I'm not bothered by them.

is he an all new sculpt?
pretty cool overall ~ i'm kind of hoping that as repaint happy as Hasbro is we'll see some of these figures redeco'd in more traditional colors (i.e. no grey/blue camo) down the road. even then, this guy is subdued enough i don't even mind the camo.

Yeah, he looks awesome, he's on the top of the wanted list right after Helix.
