Thanks, Bro. Hey, what time is it in Australia? It's cool that you get to hang out with us from all the way Down Under. I've always wanted to go there. Do you get a fair amount of Joe merchandise there?

I still think Low-Light is purposely being held "in reserve". I think he'll be the centerpiece if/when they release a "Classic Joe" line (in the 25th/ME style). Although, I would LOVE a Low-Light that is as detailed, paint apps and accessorized as the Recondo/Jungle Duke and the others that we're seeing.

It's about 2.45pm on a Saturday afternoon. It's winter over here so just hanging out in front of the TV watching some old Sunbow cartoons. Man they're cheesy good.
Merch wise, Aust didn't get anything at mass market between 1994 and the ROC stuff. Toys R US got some figures in 2003 and the first wave of VvV then nothing till 2008. I think my local got 1 case and only 1 of 25th. We're still a ittle behind with ROC as well. We're still waiting for Pit Commando, Helix etc and yet to see the Pitt at retail. The toys are selling here and the movie's doing good so hopefuly we'll see a bit more. I usually get my stuff from eBay. I have some good sellers who take care of me. |

I've just started seeing the 3rd wave of stuff.
Had gotten a limited amount of the Helix, Elite-Viper, Eel, Hawk w/ Jet Pack, Flash, PIT Commando, Crimson Neo-Viper wave. Saw my first wave of The Doctor, Arctic Snake-Eyes (definate pick up, great figure), Para-Viper (my god, the colors are awesome on this figure), Paris Pursuit Baroness, Arctic Threat Storm Shadow, Reactive Armor Ripcord and Delta-6 Suit Duke today. I got 'em all except for Arctic Threat SS and PP Baroness. I'm all set with SS until the Jungle Assault and I got the Pit Attack Baroness and that was good enough. Besides those 2, the only other RoC figures I haven't wanted are the Snake-Eyes (got Paris Pursuit though) and Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow. Alot of the figures I didn't think I was going to get, I've gotten.

Not yet, maybe tomorrow.

I'm just saying, his absence from the ROC line could be like Flint and Stalker... why isn't he here? Maybe because they're saving him for the next film? Just an idea/hope/dream.

I've gotten way more than I thought I would. Tomorrow, I'm going to post pics of my custom Delta Force Team: I repainted some heads, and put them on Desert Duke's body. The uniforms all match, of course, but the heads all turned out really well and they look like legitimate Operators in Iraq/Afghanistan. Anyway, they're my first attempts to actually make customs myself with paint, so I'll be eager to see what y'all think.

Guys, I broke 2,000 posts tonight. That's pretty exciting for me, and I'm a little proud. Couldn't have done it without this thread. Heck, without this thread, I would have quit the forum long ago.
Thanks again, Troynos.

Thanks, man. It's always cool when you show up. Your opinions and observations are always solid. So it's 1:40 AM here on Saturday. You said it was the afternoon there... is it Sunday already where you are?
