Sounds like your kid has good taste. That or he just listens to whatever the hell you say and repeats it later like most kids do. My guess is he is a republican too...

i didn't say brainwashed. My brother is a yankees fan because my father is, and he liked liking the yankees because it connected him with his pops. It is very common and has nothing to do with brainwashing -- children want their parents approval, and they will repeat their parents interests to get it. Big difference between the two.
It is more likely than not what the child said is what the child heard. These aren't thoughts he came up on his own. The fact that his dad is proud of it reveals his dad feels the same way. What is the likelihood that the dad feels exactly like the son, but never said it, his son never heard it, but came to the exact same conclusion? Highly unlikely. The origination of this kids opinion is evident that it came from his father, so what the dad is proud of is that his son feels the same way that he does, which is very common in children who seek their parents approval to repeat their parents interests back to them. That is what happened here, yet the dad wants us to believe the kid came to the conclusion on his own -- the very same opinion he himself holds. Riiiiiigghhht. |

I do find it quite sad what's been going down here lately (4-5 months??) at Hisstank. It's nothing but flame war after flame war. Mods sit back and do absolutely nothing about it. In fact, most of them join right in. It's constantly the same Tankers in every war who are consistently allowed to do so. I think it's some of our very own Tankers who need to get off the computer once in a while and get some fresh air. Maybe go out side and toss a football around or kick a soccer ball. There is more to life then GI Joe and calling others out who don't feel as you do. Sad day here.....yet again.
