Ok, let's say you are telling the truth and you did only cancel three orders. You mean to tell us that, as a retailer, you could not show the smallest amount of courtesy by contacting those three customers to tell them why you were cancelling their orders? Hell, for that matter you could not send them a simple email stating that their orders had been cancelled? It would have taken all of 2 minutes to type and send such an email. Funny how you did not have 2 minutes to do that but you've had plenty of time to sit here today and defend yourself on the forum. Of course, that's assuming there were only three customers who's orders were cancelled. If there were more than 3 then I guess emailing all of them would have been a bit more time consuming.

OK, I have to say I understand smalljoes pricing adjustment. Forcing dealers to get stuck with a Joe set for every Cobra set is complete BS. Their higher pricing is not based on making more profit, it is an attempt to counter all the Joe sets they will have to sell on clearence to get rid of later on. Unfortunately because of the way Hasbro makes them order, there is no real choice in the matter. I do not envy anyone choosing to sell toys as their primary business because of case packing BS. However, that being said, they would have made more by letting those 3 orders stand, then canceling them and causing an internet shitstorm. As a business owner, sometimes you need to know when to take a loss to prevent future losses, and this is a perfect example. These 3 pissed off customers will pull dozens more potential customers with them. I for one have ordered from smalljoes in the past, and had nothing but a good experience. However, this situation, and indeed the follow up posts from them attepting to victimize themselves at the hands of the customers, has forced me to reevaluate them as a company. A word of advise from one business owner to another, NEVER chastize your customers because they tryed to buy too much from YOU.

i have never bought anything from smalljoes but set up an account there some time ago.
I got home from work yesterday evening and, had an email about the 7 pack pre-orders. I thought alright awesome!! I have since then tried to contact them and, have yet to hear back at all. Now after seeing this thread and, also having no response from them...I seriously am considering forgetting i ever saw that email from them. As much as i would like 1 of each of the 7 packs for Our Son and myself to enjoy...integrity counts for me a lot!

I have had nothing but great service from smalljoes. Everything has met my expectations and even exceeded them. If you guys have a problem with a company, sponsor or not, keep it in a PM or contact the site...

I've had positive experiences with Smalljoes in the past. And I've never had an issue with BBTS either.
Just curious...between here and other sites..how many have gotten their orders cancelled? How many have gotten the price switch? How many actually got the product at the lower, honored price? The stats on this will determine my opinion. I'm not being biased, just trying to get all the facts before storming up the mountain with torches in hand. |

You hit right on the nail with mr stinson he's very arrogent with his responses to anything you ask him.Bottom line you just don't know who your dealing with when you buy from internet sites.he's still in buisness simply because most people overlook it then those who don't.
