1/18 is not dead, JSI is only new in name, not new to 1/18 at all, they used to manufacture toys for 21st Century Toys.

Until they actually deliver the product i'm gonna err on the side of caution.
The 21st repaints look impressive so far, minus the lack of any tactical markings on the Tiger. How they do on building something from scratch is another question altogether, and something to be addressed if and when the F-14 comes out. Until then it's a lot of nice talk. |

Joystar International. It's a Chinese(Hong Kong) toy firm, that, among other things, used to do manufacturing for 21st Century Toys.

The F-15I Ra'am is the IAF variant of the F-15E Strike Eagle, and the Su-27UBK is a 2-seat export version. I would have preferred Soviet markings, but i have to admit Chinese scheme is pretty sharp. |

i really like a lot of these vehicles, but at between $100 and $200, it makes it seem a bit unreasonale to collect such expensive paper weights...on thT note, i ordered one of the F-14s...flip'n beautiful

Guys the estimated price for these put up by Militarytoyshop is $200. It might be less once the final prices are nailed down, but considering how huge these things are by comparison, in real life the F-16 Viper and F/A-18 Hornet are small compared to the F-14, F-15, and especially the SU-27(which is the biggest/longest of all at nearly 4ft long in 1/18 scale!).

Price that I'd pay will largely depend on what it is - I'd pay $200 for a 1:18 F-14 with no problems, but I wouldn't expect to pay that for a 1:18 tank, for example. So the poll is kind of unanswerable as it stands.
