My questions repeat the musings of other Tankers, but I may as well chime in:
1) Will we see more 25th style illustrated packaging in the future AFTER the RoC releases? (This is a key selling feature for me as a collector. I love the figures themselves, but the packaging artwork is one of the reasons I collect the line, especially when it comes to classic characters like Zap, Breaker, Grunt, Short-Fuze, etc. To date Hasbro hasn't released these characters on single 25th style cards, but there are thousands of us who want to collect them this way. EDIT - It wouldn't be the same to get these guys on RoC cards even if they're in the RAH style... just not the same... 2) What are the chances we'll be seeing previously released classic 25th characters (like Clutch or Stalker, for instance) on single RoC cardbacks (as off-screen characters)? 3) Classic vehicles and weapons - what are your plans (if any) for releasing updated versions of the original HAL, MMS, Polar Battle Bear, etc? EDIT - OOPS! Can't forget the Cobra SNAKE

My Questions:
recently we saw updated pictures of the Cobra Island 7 packs, and it was noticed that the body construction of Hit and Run had changed from being based on the Airborne mold to the Cobra Trooper mold, still with the non-fixed crotch. Why the change? Any chance of changing back? or at least using the fixed-crotch mold? Can you tell us if there will be more than 1 wave of Walmart offscreen 2 packs? Can you shed some light on the Target exclusive "Then & Now" packs? at least what the concept is? My not-Question (in case Hasbro is trolling the thread): Resolute Rock n' Roll and Tunnel Rat. i need them. My Answers: Quote:

it's switching to movie figures, we've seen at least the first wave... Quote:
Modern era figures will be slotted into the movie line as "filler" ala the Walmart 2 packs and Thunder and Rampage vehicle drivers. but at this point the 7 packs are the last official "Modern Era/25th anniversary" releases. Quote:
I am sure this has been asked but hell the way I figure it the more it gets asked maybe it will get submission:
WILL WE SEE THE ONLINE 7 PACKS EVENTUALLY RELEASED AS SINGLE CARDS OR IN COMIC PACKS AS TROOP BUILDERS???? WHY RELEASE ALL THE FAN FAV'S IN EXPENSIVE 7 PACKS??? WHAT IF CERTAIN PEEPS WANT TO TROOP BUILD RANGE VIPERS, ALLEY VIPERS, AND NIGHT CREEPERS??? THEY HAVE TO BUY INTO AN EXPENSIVE 7 PACK???? AND WIND UP WITH AN INORDINATE AMOUNT OF MINDBENDERS ON THE SIDE??????? Quote:
Hall of heroes in stores: $12.99+ i don't think the Ultimate Battle Pack counts since it's just resellers scalping packs they picked up on clearance @ Target.

OMFG guys. During the last 3 Q&A's everyone was bitching about not having a Mindbender, and now that we're getting one everyone is still bitching about it. FTW?\
I don't care one way or the other about Mindbender, it's just that we (I'm including myself in this) spend way too much time bitching about everything. Some of it legitimate. Some of it not. For once, let's try to remain positive and supportive as Hasbro drives the G.I. Joe ship into the preverbial iceberg. Last edited by Killer 1; 04-28-2009 at 07:08 PM.. |

just one question and I hope all you classic re-do fans get behind this one.
1.) when Hasbro launches the movie product, and all of the big name stores buy the "movie toy large display package deal" from Hasbro. WILL Hasbro include a selection of 25th classic toys or require that the stores must display a selection of 25th classic toys as well? or will they dissapear for 6 months? we'd like to know thanks

Will we see more figures and vehicles based upon the Rise Of Cobra video game?
For example a ROC Gung-Ho or ROC H.I.S.S. Tank. |

Will there be additional stock of Wave 13, the Resolute wave, shipping to big box stores like WalMart or Target?
There have been some pictures of Wave 14 floating around. Will you be releasing these or any other figures not pertaining to the upcoming movie? |

The Walmart Gung-Ho is the game version (which strongly resembles the Resolute version). I'd like to know about the HISS too...

why have you deprived canada of so many items. it seems that we may never get the chance at more vehicles and figures. if it's retailers thats the problem why not expand Hasbrotoyshop to accommodate canadien needs?
