These sets are looking pretty sweet. Don't be fooled by the 'internet only' tag... the last 7-packs can be found in Hastings entertainment stores even if they're substantially more expensive. I realize that they probably ordered them via internet to sell in their stores so I'm just letting you folks know that there have been exceptions to many of the 25th's rules...

Yeah.. I think the last Desert and Artic packs are seriously collecting some dust at my Waco Hastings. I mean when you throw a price tag of 50.00 on a 33.00 pack of figures... yeah, they won't disappear very quickly. Maybe if they throw them on clearance for 30.00 a piece then I will swipe them up!

OK...I read 18 pages to make this point and before I do, let me say what I have said many times already regarding these sets: They are gifts from some great guys at Hasbro. I think some true fanboys on the Hasbro team probably had to fight to get these sets in for us because of the movie. I LOVE the sets!!!
That being said...how long has this line being running? Over 2 years? And yet we are STILL getting poorly designed crotches that don't allow for proper seating in vehicles. Seriously, this is beyond annoying. Atleast half the reason this line is so popular and has always been so popular is the vehicles. I just refuse to believe Hasbro doesn't know this is an issue with collectors. Honestly I think we'll probably see these guys all reissued on card with new crotch designs. Even so, they have had a newly designed cobra trooper crotch for some time now and even the latest cobra troops don't have it, so we may not see it. Ok...to sum up...I LOVE THE SETS and I'm very thankful we are getting them. But that doesn't mean I can't voice small irritation for a design issue that has been known and should have been fixed sometime last year. |

Yeah... the price tag I saw was $37.99 for each set. You can get them both for $50, plus shipping on EE. But if I was in a pinch, I'd probably have to break down, take the drive up to Denton, and squander an extra $15...

All your Alley Vipers are belong to me
We all know the Alley Viper will be awesome, but I think the Lamprey and Range Viper might be a little under the radar. I have to repeat whats been said 5 million times already..."Where's Wetsuits Helmet? They could have just repainted the Eels helm at least." I saw some desert and arctic winter packs for 30 canadian the other day at a comic store, but since I had them already I didnt really want another set, plus have to save up every penny for my defense of cobra island packs.
