I had over 15 trades working in the past 2 weeks and so far i sent out all but 1 and i have only recieved 6 packages from people and now everyone wants to say i never sent out my stuff. Well I haven't recieved all my stuff either and I know I'm getting burned here so I will no longer be on the site. I will finalize all deals I made but I don't want to belong to the community. I left other sites for the same reason and its ridiculous ! so please disreguard all my haves/wants and any offers I have yet to finalize.
Also how about replying to PMs. I am currently waiting on my end of our trade. You received my end and were even looking for a trade again before I even got mine. When (after about 2 weeks) I did ask about my end of the deal and when it shipped I got a vague answer. Now I get no replies to PMs at all (and you are still on here daily) I am not the only one you seem to have shafted. My suggestion to you is cut the BS and make it right with everyone you owe. Ryan |

Yeah I'm going to have to stick up for the site too. I haven't had that many deals on here, maybe five or six in the last six months but all of them ran smooth as silk.
Like everyone said just get delivery confirmation and give that number to your receiver. And if you don't reply to your PM's then that is a real issue.

BBQ, trashing basically everyone in this community is probably not th way to get support.
If you got burned, learn from it. if you really left other communities for the same reason and still don't require confirmation... "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" right? Don't let the door hit ya pal. |

Between here and another site ive done better than 100 trades(mostly there) and never gotten ripped off. I had only one guy who I thought was flaky and called off the deal.

You should set your own requirements for trades. If someone has no feedback, I will require that they send first. I will send simultaneously to someone who has good feedback. I require that both parties use delivery confirmation or tracking to both prove they sent the item and to prove delivery.
I only traded with people who had feedback when I started, some of which didn't have such requirements. Once I built up a good reputation, then I could feel comfortable requiring more from people who had no feedback. |

this is unfortunate. i have made two trades with Barbecue68. the first one went fine. i never received the 2nd one. i chalked it up to having been lost in the post or something, since i had a similar thing occur recently. i did not leave bad feedback because we had done a prior deal and the trade was of very little value (some accessories for a few figure parts). the lesson to be learned here is never trade anything of even slight value with someone without getting delivery confirmation. i have recently made this a requirement for any trade i do, and have posted such in may trade thread. i'm not going to take sides in this particular thread, but i thought other might want to see what yet another very highly positive feedback poster has to say.

I was in the process of working out a trade with bbq myself sometime ago when he backed out of the deal that i thought we had finalized. Days passed with no communication. When i finally got a response He cited the reason as being his wife did not approve of him trading his action figures that she bought him for other figures. A couple of days later i sent him another pm asking if the deal was still on and he told me that he talked to his wife and that he had convinced his her to let him trade for "other figures" but he couldn't even remember the trade we agreed upon, even though it was a simple 1 for 1 trade. I tried a few more times to complete the trade but after a couple more days without communication i gave up on the trade and it looks like it was a good decision.
