I'm not normally a guy to ask for less articulation, but I rarely see a 4" figure where butterfly joints look good, and they look twice as bad on bare parts. Texture and clothing and mitigate some, but smooth or bare looks particularly bad
I like that these are moving away from the early Classified armor up designs and are now more consistent with the Return to ARAH Classified designs. These look pretty damn good. Otherwise, good. Waiting to preorder!

I mean, Classified T&X are ARAH-faithful, so I?m not sure this particular set tells us that? so far all the Hiya 4? have used the Classified figure design at the smaller scale. I?m pretty sure they?ve not deviated from that? yet? It?s one reason I don?t really understand who these figures are for? I could see releasing 4? that are more retro styled or additionally unique designs. Having said all that? I would definitely pick up a version of a figure that doesn?t have a great modern era design at that scale? tele-viper comes to mind.

No I can't un-see those joints. I will probably miss them as I wait for someone to tell me if I can replace those arms with Boss Fight ones.

We all pick and choose what we can?t unsee. Me? It?s that Python mouth in his crotch. Don?t care about the joints.

I was just looking at my 25th T+Z, and I can't see how these are realistically any better. I feel that way about all of them, to varying degrees (except that Spirit is a definite improvment). Some are better, but not better enough for $25. I dunno...I guess I'm just happy with what I already have. I'd buy Spirit though, but I already made one I dig out of MTF parts, so I'm good. It's a weird feeling to see new Joe 1:18 scale toys and not give much of a shit. Back in the day, I'd be jonesing for these something fierce. I'd likely be down for a Scarlet and Footloose though.
