Oh it's annoying alright. Especially when the peg hole is in the toe area, with a depth of like 1 millimeter. I don't have much advice, other than lean people up against stuff. Bar wall, bar counter, a Speeder, a ship, a larger more stable figure, whatevers near by. It sounds stupid, but it works for me.

I had a few figures the last few weeks where the peg hole was a bit too narrow, and I wound up boring the holes out a bit with a pin vise I bought from Amazon. I can dig up the listing of the vise if anyone cares. Usually I just bore the holes out wider, but it's possible to bore them deeper as well. I've done this on feet on a few different brands (Halo/Fortnite, MTF), and also on backpack sockets as well occasionally (Fortnite).

I agree on that point. Looking back, it seems that Obi Wan was wearing robes to blend in at Tatooine. I don't understand to decision to make it the official Jedi outfit. I just sold my TVC Bastila Shan figure last week and thought her look was a better match for a "knight".
While I have come to love the prequels in their own way, it kind of bugs me how the details only KIND OF fit... like the whole thing about Obi Wan serving under Leia's father, for example. Like, sure you can just pretend maybe she didn't quite understand the relationship or whatever but it's still quite obvious that George just kind of changed his mind as the series developed.

"What your father told you was the truth, from a certain point of view. Except he wasn't your real father, but adopted you after your mother died of a broken heart on an asteroid medical bay. Then he ordered C-3PO's memory erased. And he was a good friend."
I have the official visual dictionary for Star Wars dated 1998. "In his time, C-3PO loyally served over forty masters. ..." Yeah, George flushed that down the refresher, didn't he? Along with the series Droids. |

"I don't seem to remember ever owning a droid."
But then has his own personal astromech in Attack of the Clones. I swear Lucas just did not give a flying eff by the time he wrote the prequels lol

Finally had some space and got this out and about to start modifying it but I really can't decide if I want it to be a standard scifi interior, Imperial or really go in on it and give it a rebel-ish look like it belongs somewhere like Yavin or Hoth.

Obi Wan's clearly senile, at this point. I mean, he referred to Vader as "Darth", like it was his first name, on the Death Star. lol

I never thought he 'owned' the astromech attached to the fighter he flew to Geonosis. None of that stuff was his, but the Order's issued to him on an as-needed basis similarly to every other Jedi in the Order. Next mission would have had him in an entirely different ship with a new astromech assigned from the duty roster.
I've always thought it dumb how 3PO and R2 have swapped origins. R2 and his unique personality work so much better as a cobbled-together mess of leftover crap, esp since he's meant to assist starship pilots like Anakin dreams of being. 3PO obviously works better as a protocol droid assigned to a friggin' planetary queen. 3PO should have been the very first OT character seen in the PT, shown standing next to Queen Amidala on the Trade Federation viewscreen. Lucas is dumb a lot of the time. |
