I wonder how many people are going to think Altitude is a brand new guy?

Just wanted to weigh in on the 7-packs. Love 'em.
And as for Joes with limited military training, Shockwave comes to mind. If I'm not mistaken, he's really a cop. |

Regarding the Sharc, I just wanted to point out that you're not supposed to fly and Scuba Dive within 48 hours of each other because the different pressure changes can give you the Benz (kant spell). So I think we should rename the sharc and call it...the Death Trap.

Yeah, along with Wide Scope and Surefire (SWAT and CID). Bulletproof is a US Marshal right? No formal military training?

The same goes for flying - if the cabin of the Sharc is pressurized, there's no issue whatsoever. (Although divers can get the bends if they fly immediately after diving, because commercial planes don't usually pressurize to one atmosphere)

But wouldn't Deep-Six then need to depressurize his suit (and doesn't that take hours) before he could then take it off. So as long as he was in the suit he could go from sea to air and back and forth as much as he wanted.
Now the other uses of the Sharc (Sky Patrol, the Night Specter, Night Patrol, etc..) can't use it as a Jet/Sub. Or if they do, they can't get in and out on a whim if it's a sub?

The entire problem with the bends comes from inhaling gases (typically the nitrogen component of air) at different pressures, because gases inhaled at higher pressures can form bubbles as the pressure reduces. The lungs normally deal with this during exhalation, but if the process happens too quickly the bubbles are unable to leave the body via the lungs and cause the bends. (This can also lead to an air embolism, but that's separate from the bends) If anyone else wants to use it as a sub, the cockpit has to be pressurized or you'd have the problem with decompression, and the bends willbe an issue if they want to get out. If, say, Torpedo is manning it and gets out at depth, he'd have to equalize pressure to get out and the bends would be an issue for him to deal with when he wanted to ascend. If they're just using it as a traditional submarine, then the bends are no more of a problem than in a traditional submarine.

I am ecstatic about the 7 packs! They look fantastic. And the way they've revamped/recolored Chuckles is awesome. He's much more tactical, while still paying homage to the original figure - awesome.
Outback looks great, and his assault vest is awesome. I can't wait to see Recondo's hat. Did they just change Ripcord to Altitude because of the movie? weird. The Cobra 7 pack looks even better... I don't know what these packs will cost, but I would really like to stock up on the Cobra pack. Range Viper and Alley Viper have been two of my very favorites for a long time. Very impressive. Also, the new PIT looks impressive to me. I think it could be a really interesting moving HQ similar to the Mobile Command Center or The General. I'm very excited to see more... speaking of which, I've always thought of the Rolling Thunder and the Thunder Clap as the mobile HQ of the Joe Artillery. I figure Major Barrage would work out of a TOC in the Rolling Thunder. I'm liking most of the Movie Stuff, except the Rolling PIT. It just looks like a big boat. The fact that it seems to look like some of the levels are underground seems hokey to me. I'm just happy it comes with Hawk and not some random new character I would otherwise be compelled to buy. Dropping close to $100 on. I have always thought of the Thunderclap as a mobile Artillery HQ. Rolling Thunder has become my Fast Attack \Cavalry HQ. ROCC as the mobile Urban HQ General as the mobile Infantry HQ MCC as the Armor HQ |

Which would be good for a jungle environment? ROCC or Rhino? General is too wide.
