I haven't gone quite that far, but I used to buy up Lanard figure lots back in the day just to use them for spare parts so that I'd have plenty of screws, t-bars, and o-rings.

I didn't at first, but I once cracked the screw post on a 1983 trooper by using the wrong screw size, and started saving screws from junkers. Haven't had a problem since.

The Heads are coming unpainted and looking shit. Anyone who doesn't paint as a hobby is up shit creek if they bought the Flint, Lady Jaye wave and gets the unpainted heads etc. ******Credit to RockinHard's post https://www.hisstank.com/forum/5650331-post5080.html

you can try soaking the screws in wd40 rust remover or any other rust remover, but you may end up stripping the screw as you're unscrewing it and that opens a whole new problem. i was soaking them in vinegar to expirement and i'd forgotten i was even doing that and it didnt do anything for them. you're better off getting new/better screws rather than trying to salvage the ones you have. |

Supposedly there's no control over what's coming out of the factories either, so paint's on the samples but is not on the production figures with little or no recourse once shipped
