yeah that too. a kid can have trouble understanding that it's a movie inside a cartoon movie. but an adult with that same excuse has trouble putting socks on in the morning.

That and it wasn't the movie inside of the cartoon that would have inspired the cartoon character to buy the movie characters' toys that were the stars of the cartoon.

Got the ZergCarrier yday and it is indeed gonna be able to get a cockpit bashed into it. I'm thinking to split the handle down the middle and use it for the canopy hatch's frame, even. Gimme a few months...

Not sure if this is out yet, but here you go.
https://www.target.com/p/disney-pixa...KwOyOi4g5LdYPA And this one, both say out of stock but these may not be out yet. I believe Entertainment Earth listed these as preorders for this month, so bookmark these links. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Disney-an...-in/1144038393

couple of things - so either we're too late for those links or the xl-07 and xl-14 never actually went up for sale (the both say sold out and i had notifications set up for both). the xl-14 is on entertainment earth as a preorder.
amazon is still dropping the prices on these mega low. i was at ross last weekend and snagged the 12" scale (14") zurg figure for 5 bucks and the remote control jeep for 10 (i think. it was cheaaaaaaap. my son was acting like a turd and i was mad enough to tell him he's not getting a toy for his bad behavior, but not mad enough to make his mom watch him while i went back and got it to give to him at another time) amazon has both the 12" scale and the 7" scale zurg for 7.96 so if you're afte a specific height zurg, take a second look before buying. i currently have a second 12" scale zurg in my cart because...i cant make up my mind if i want to make the one i have into an antimonitor or a sentinel (a nimrod since he's not QUITE the same size as my legends baf sentinels). so, this weekend i'm getting it and a couple of things for my 90's tmnt movie casey jones costume stuff. i had a big ol burnout making my space rangers with o-ring heads and upper torsos shoved into them. 1 turned into 5, and then 5 turned into 11. i've managed to start painting just the figures and i have 5 painted, 1 fully complete painted and accessorized (and those are painted too) - so 5 figures left and then all the accessories to print and paint. since i'm using 3d models for 40k weapons, ive hit a snag orienting them just the right way so i dont get pimples on the bottoms of prints (ongoing problem). im painting the 4th figure that i was excited to make and am hoping finishing the paint on it is enough to get me over the hump and finish the project. I have gotten two plasma drills (they work well as cannons) and three of the base utility vehicles quite cheap in Amazon, I think $8 each.

I would like to see those. I'm curious because I know you are a 1:18 scale guy, and the I think the Lightyear figures are a bit too big to fit in with o-rings or 4 inch figures - they seem to fit better alongside 6 inch scale (thankfully the vehicles are quite smaller and look good among 1:18)
when im done with the last guy i'll post them. the figures are more important than the accessories. i figure if i post buzz the fun will fizzle out for me when i can show off the big picture that i'm using aliens in the group too (sort of like the old buzz lightyear cartoon). |
