I received a notice today from Hasbro Pulse. The price of retro Indy has dropped to 11.99. To effect the price change, they had to cancel the pre orders from Pulse.
So heads up, if you have a retro Indy on pre-order from pulse, you will need to log in and re-order it. If you wanted a retro Indy but did not like the price, you may be interested to know it has dropped.

That's true, but I still prefer good beer. That said, it's crazy the shift in collector's mindsets. When I first got into this shit, it was all nostalgia for just about everyone else in it too. Everyone wanted the toys they had has kiddos. I mean, why else would a grown man want to buy kid's toys? Now it's evolved into a lot more collectors being fans of action figures themselves. Whatever stiffens your peen, man.

[QUOTE=SmokeBellew;5609912]lol That's why I keep all my shit, new and old, out of plain sight. I was thinking about it once and came to the realization that even if I had the space and the ambition to display my toys, I still wouldn't because I hate clutter. So I'm a weirdo who pulls shit out to look at it, and then puts it all away again, and has a few things on his home office desk that he dicks with as a periodic break from work monotony. It's like I own this stuff just to own it because just owning it, and periodically fucking with it, gives me the nostalgia Hate when I delete too much oh well. Just wanted to say you're not alone in this. Maybe we need a support group. Come to think of it we already have one. It's called YouTube |

Why are the other retro Indy figures not on Amazon? BBTS has them, but I wonder why Amazon does not.

I would have been more inclined to buy them if it had characters like Thot and the German Mechanic. I was disappointed that those never made it to retail in 2008.
