According to that livestream, Ceremonial Belloq was never released on card, with maybe 5 carded versions out there that must've been "salesman samples" type deals. Regular Belloq was released carded, which is the one I wish they were releasing for this retro line. I never was a fan of scene-specific figures even as a kid because it limited its use. I ain't gonna bitch about it though. lol

Old price guides listed carded Ceremonial Belloq like it was a mass released but rare thing, too. Old price guides had errors like that, like Eco Warriors Deep Six and his Killer Whale variant (of Finback), which was apparently never a retail release.

I have one on pre-order. I love the vintage style of toys. This is a nostalgia game first and foremost to me, haters gonna hate. As far as price, I'm not overly concerned. I spent more on a twelve pack last weekend and it's gone.

That's true, but I still prefer good beer. That said, it's crazy the shift in collector's mindsets. When I first got into this shit, it was all nostalgia for just about everyone else in it too. Everyone wanted the toys they had has kiddos. I mean, why else would a grown man want to buy kid's toys? Now it's evolved into a lot more collectors being fans of action figures themselves. Whatever stiffens your peen, man.

Since I never stopped collecting even into my 40s, I wound up growing out of the old toys and being fi e with newer.
So I don't have a ton of nostalgia for Kenner 80s Star Wars fir example because I continously replaced them with the 90s then 2000s sculpts etc. |

Being into old stuff = sad old man trying to fix the broken = pity pussy galore. That's what the twelve pack tells me anyway...

lol That's why I keep all my shit, new and old, out of plain sight. I was thinking about it once and came to the realization that even if I had the space and the ambition to display my toys, I still wouldn't because I hate clutter. So I'm a weirdo who pulls shit out to look at it, and then puts it all away again, and has a few things on his home office desk that he dicks with as a periodic break from work monotony. It's like I own this stuff just to own it because just owning it, and periodically fucking with it, gives me the nostalgia happy.
