Zartan's the boss, and it's his sister, he flipped out. It makes sense.

Zandar. Zarana. Twins. Makes even more sense, but no one cares.

I just noticed something about Destro’s first appearance in “The Cobra Strikes” (part 1 of the MASS 4 parter). When he scans his hand to enter the Cobra lair, it looks like there’s an X-ray of his hand and what appears to be robotic fingers. Does anyone know if this is just an artistic liberty, or has Destro had a mechanical hand this entire time and I just never noticed?

Zandar was conveniently absent during this episode. Were he present, the Dreadnoks wouldn't even think about trying to hypnotize Zarana or he'd kick their asses. Zartan would have no motivation to betray Mindbender, and Flint and crew would rot in jail while the girls all got literal face lifts.

As a result, he now has robot hands. This was only referenced one more time, during which he and Baroness were cybernetically "brainwashed" thralls of the Blue Ninja cyborgs. Not truly brainwashed, but disconnected from their nervous systems. They were both conscious of their situation but their bodies would not respond to their minds any longer. So, somehow he detached one of his robot hands, and it turned out that his brain could still control it after it was disconnected from his body. So he piloted his hand up to the implant on his neck to overcome the control of the Blue Ninjas. I never liked that, but maybe the cartoon was the reason for this change from Larry.

I wish we'd get an explanation about how Destro's head works. He's got the Silver-Surfer-thing going.

I noticed that Michael Crichton ripped off Primordial Plot to make Jurassic Park. Which wouldn't be a surprise since he ripped off Seven Samurai to make The 13th Warrior.
