Did you guys notice how they didn't give the joint area on the top of the shoulder as big of an area to move around in, which hinders overhead movement a lot. He basically can't put his arms over his shoulders without altering that outer joint area on the top of the shoulder.
It's my only real nitpick with the Classified CG. Also am not that big of a fan of the upper bicep joint, as it is more or less like a straight cut traditional swivel joint instead of the usual Classified arm joint is where it sort of covers the joint area. I can see why they may have decided to do the CG that way in order to keep the arms looking more smooth. But not a fan of it and would have preferred the normal Classified articulation for the biceps and upper arm/shoulder area.

Someone may have already pointed this out, but not only does the CG have the new bicep joint, but so does Stalker (who shares the same arms as Dusty as well). So this updated articulation seems to be the new design going forward. But I honestly think it may be a step back. The new arm joint sticks out now since it is just a straight swivel cut and isn't hidden inside the concave ball joint area of the upper arm/shoulder like it used to be. It is alao less aesthetically pleasing since there is a big gap now and when you move the arms in certain poses the lower arm and bicep peg sort of starts to pop out of the joint and bends funky.
I remember someone else mentioning this when thr CG hit. But now that it is being used on more figures, I am a littled bummed. It's definitely a downgrade in my eyes. Curious what your guys' thoughts are...

Anyone else notice that every single in-hand CG shows the massive Cobra sigil kicked counter-clockwise by about 1 degree? I noticed it on both of the ones I just received from Pulse. So I started looking at in-hand pics. It's not crazy noticable but, once seen can never be unseen.

Can't remember who it was now. I know D.Fender was like me and thought it was barely even noticeable even after being pointed out. Yeah, that older neck style I definitely miss. Less range in the newer neck style too.

I 100% see where your logic is coming from, but I think you missed my point, the new articulation is a downgrade in articulation because it doesn't bend or move quite as well as it did before. So it's more like a statue than it was before. The overhead movement is slightly more restricted and the arms don't seem to have quite as much range as the older style joint allowed. That bothers me more than the visual joint. In some ways the new joint looks better, but in certain poses it doesn't.
The old joint allowed for some fantastic prone and creeping poses.

Amazon told me a week ago I was getting my CG on Dec 8th or 9th.
Well....it's already afternoon now on the 9th, and the damn thing still hasn't shipped. The order page says "arriving by 10PM" but I don't see that happening considering it hasn't even shipped yet. My wait...........continues............ |
