I think the only "odd man" on your team is Tripwire only because he is the only one who does not have some sort of law enforcement tie in. Some characters do not have enough background info so they can be adjusted to whatever suits a persons needs. However I see why you would have him on there since you need an additional EOD tech.
I also like Wide Scope as a sniper and not a MWD handler. Seems contradictory for someone to do both as I would think keeping an animal under control would not be something a designated marksman or sniper could focus on when trying to take a precision shot. Forgot to add: Bullet-Proof would fit into this structure as well. Maybe as XO under Sure Fire? Last edited by john shaft; 10-29-2022 at 02:47 PM.. |

I while ago I became interested in the 3 3/4 inch versions of 12 inch figures (1994 30 Anniversary figures and ME Adventure Team figures). I was reading the Action Astronaut filecard, which made me in turn research Project: Mercury. After reading about the missions, I am wondering, is Action Astronaut supposed to be Gordon Cooper? The info on the filecard almost matches his mission exactly.
If this is indeed the case, are the other o-ring figures (Action Soldier, Sailor, Pilot) supposed to be based real people too?

I wonder. I never bought the ultimate guide where their might be a back story on these guys. The others seem pretty generic except the Astronaut.

The idea was that we would be used in mop up operations until we developed skills, then go to the fire line |

I struggle because I always see GIJ as a small ops team, not as a huge military organization with hundreds of members. if you ever watch 'The Unit' I see them more like that; several small teams who do a variety of roles and are at the top level of secrecy. So engineers and firemen etc are more mainstream military branches that would work WITH the Joes, but not be a PART of the Joes.

I got an Armadillo a few weeks back as I was a fan of the original when I was younger.
How do people see the Armadillo being used by their Joes? I'm tempted to make a small mobile anti-armor team or a fire support team with my lone Armadillo. Maybe Bazooka, Short Fuze and perhaps Thunder as the driver. |
