Whether it's Classified, Action Force, Gridiron or some other boutique toy maker or third party vendor I would like to see the rifles come with sling mounts, not the sling, just the mounts. I can go Michael's, (or Blicks,) buy some black ribbon and make a sling. Even me with my non arts & crafts havin' ass can cut some ribbon to size and make a sling. Though Gridiron does provide rubber bands for a makeshift sling I would just prefer the sling mounts be sculpted on to the rifles, rocket, and grenade launchers.

The problem would be breakage. Rubber or plastic, with how small those'd have to be, they're gonna break with even the slightest bit of tension. The Hasbro's Black Series Aurra Sing was on the right track as far as how the sling attaches to the rifle (overlapping "cuffs") but the sling, itself, sucked. Might just be better off using feed-through loops on those tiny silicone braces/hair rubber-bands.

N/P. I know it's disappointing, but those same issues plague 1:6 weapons at twice the size, with double the plastic.

So I was googling pictures of C.G. to see what kind of pistol that she came with, (b.t.w. what kind of pistol is that?) Anyway, I came across this picture of Courtney on the Pulse site and I took particular note of the pose that she was in.
Now my issue is with my fellow Tankers. How is that YOU MUTHAFUCKAS let an entire discussion go by about the figures inability to achieve a combat grip go by without posting a picture of C.G. holding her sidearm in a combat grip? LOL. Seriously though, barring an accessory that would limit this point of articulation the JOE team is now committed to giving us Classified figures that can achieve a combat grip.

The only reason I didn't take pics is because the "combat grip" is rather simple compared to the prone pose, which was the more popular point of discussion.

I hear because when I read it earlier I realized that I was able to get Duke and Beach Head in that pose. It wasn't like A.F. figures, but it was good enough and passable for pictures.

Yeah, I hear ya. I think it's entirely dependent on the gear, though. Even with the Action Force figures, the ones in the paintball vests can't really achieve that, either as the vest almost completely impedes the butterfly joint's forward articulation. That's one of those cases where that East/West wrist articulation works better than the North/South.

Sup Guys?
Knowing how you guys "lurk," on HISS Tank, I thought I'd offered you some feedback on much maligned Falcon portrait. Usually, the age of the JOEs isn't an issue because the G.I. JOE team is a quasi special operations unit and we can assume that most of the team are in their mid 20's - mid 30's. For storytelling purposes we can skew the JOEs being older because of prior combat experience that was gained elsewhere. Notwithstanding any quality control issues concerning the Falcon face sculpt. An issue that needs to be addressed is Lt. Falcon's countenance is that of a older battle harded solider who's seen some things. Presenting Falcon as an older character is wrong because his rank is synonymous with his character, (e.g. General Hawk, Admiral Keel-Haul, Colonel Courage, Major Bludd, Captain Grid-Iron, Lieutenant Stone, and Sergeants Stalker, Slaughter, and Savage, and to a lesser extent Duke (who is a command sergeant,) and Flint and Wild Bill who are chief warrant officers,) In regards to the characters cited there's a direct correlation between the character's age and their rank. In Falcon's case since he's a 1st Lieutenant he would be between 25 - 28 years old. Dusty appears to be about 25 years old and Falcon should appear to be about the same age as Dusty. Since Emily said on a roundtable that you guys are opened to having celebrities in the Classified Series this would be a perfect opportunity to get the rights to use Don Johnson's likeness for Falcon in a future release of Falcon. Again, reiterating the point that I made before, if you guys pursue this option you would need model Falcon's portrait after Don Johnson when he was in his 20's as opposed to when he was playing Sonny Crockett on Miami Vice because Falcon would still be too old. This photoshopped picture of Falcon, (courtesy of the HISS Tank's own DarthBrett,) shows how an age appropriate Falcon would look with the corrections made to sculpt.
