Today's new profile features the 1983 Grunt:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....983-grunt.html Grunt is the gateway figure that introduced many collectors to G.I. Joe. To me, though, he's never really been relevant or an integral part of my collection.

Today's new profile is a far too long look at the Iron Stormtrooper from the Sgt. Savage line:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....rmtrooper.html The best part of this figure is the black lab coat and his unproduced 1995 Battle Corps Rangers weapons.

Today, we're doing something different. I'm looking at the top 10 spring loaded accessories from the 1990's:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....cessories.html Many people hate these included weapons. But, some are just really fun toys and might even have some value for people who want "realism".

I agree with your choices. I've always wished that Hasbro had gave us an option to mount some of those to vehicles or playsets. Cutter's would have been a natural fit on the Shark 2000, brackets for the water packs on the ECO Striker, etc.

Sadly, probably never see anything like that again. Between cost cutting and Hasbro's reluctance to actually make "toys for kids" and not "collectibles masquerading as toys"

Are you talking about the tan missile launchers with the strange circular bases? I looked for along time on all of the vehicles, especially the Patriot Grizzly, and couldn't find anywhere they'd fit. So you're saying they went to a toy we never got? Love to see concepts of it!

Checked yojoe, didn't see anything that would look good, maybe Salvo's system, on a vehicle. So, I would have never thought of mounting them.

In today's new profile, we look at the version of the 1990 Locust helicopter that was included with the massive General:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....l-variant.html This little chopper is a really nice addition to a Joe air force and is fun to have around.
