That's awesome, but why is New Zealand putting out an ARAH coin? That's confusing to me. Oh well, I may pull the trigger in this!!!

So the coin has the Queen's profile? I don't get it.
I would like to see a coin with Cobra Commander's profile since he is hell-bent on world domination. And what better way to dominate the world than through currency? |

If my brief skimming of Wikipedia has given me adequate understanding, this coin is technically legal tender in the small island nation of Niue - but since Niue is in free association with New Zealand (which is why Queen Elizabeth is on the coin, since she's the head of state) and uses the NZD as its currency, the Niue dollar is only ever actually produced in the form of collectible coins like these. The idea being that, as legal tender, the amount of these coins produced is strictly controlled by government order, so you can buy them knowing that more won't be produced later and wipe out all the value of your purchase.

You're paying $100 for $20 worth of silver. It's a neat collectible but over priced. New Zealand does a lot of these coins. They do silver comic book covers as well.
