I've as you can see I've been on H.I.S.S. Tank for "a minute," and I've been posting on the regular for about a year and I'm just now noticing something about this forum. There's not a section dedicated to the Marvel run of the comic. Anyway, that's why I'm posting this thread here.

Just watched issue 26. Really captivating and very well done.
The Marvel comics were the total GIJoe experience for me. I have such nostalgia for them to this day. I started with Issue 31... and it will forever be one of my favorites ever. I can remember exactly where I bought it. I can remember reading it dozens and dozens of times. Then, taking the time to track down all the issues before it. This was in the days before comic stores (at least in my area) - so it was going to comic conventions in shopping malls, finding issues from friends, etc. I remember trading my entire sheet of Ricky Henderson Rookie Cards for issue 26. Kind of makes me sick, considering how much those cards can go for nowadays. Oh well. No regrets. Great times. Last edited by captain mal; 08-12-2022 at 04:17 PM.. |

Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing dude. Would be pretty impressive if he eventually does every single issue.
Some of the voices don't fit or sound right, (Firefly to me would have a quiet, deeper and monotone voice and without any distinct American accents present and Destro should be very Scottish sounding), but other than that, they are fairly well-done. I have all the comics on a disc someone burned me on here years ago, but I think listening/watching on YT is easier and a lot more convenient.
