Also - take a look at this. 'Windowless' - but still has all the plastic on the inside of the box. What the heck? |

Don't think I believe that Star Wars figure was broke like that inside the box, even other users commenting on how it's suspect.
However, its going to be tough for Hasbro to push plastic free boxes when things like the Grogu set have more plastic on the inside than the window would have. Those don't look broke - I think the legs just popped off. |

I'd like to see the box it was in, if it got crushed I could see the legs popping off...speaking of, I've noticed on my Classified the very thin like Lady Jaye or the very thick like Gung-Ho have ball-joints on the hip that won't swivel without excess force to the point I'm nervous to try

with SDCC this week you'd think we will see more of the new packaging?

I'm curious if Slaughter has the window box, the plastic-free wasn't supposed to start until waves past the Crimson one but now the Blue Ninjas have it so they're implementing it sooner than expected.

I think I'll be done collecting this line once they kill the display window. I'm not even happy with them doing carded since it doesn't match what I currently have, but at least you can see the figure. I'm honestly not sure if I'll ever remove any of them from the package. It won't be for a while anyway.
I mean, don't most collectors keep the boxes even if they take the figures out? I doubt we're seeing tons of Classified packages in landfills. I'd only throw a box out if it arrived completely trashed. I get that some countries are banning disposable plastics. I wouldn't consider these to be disposable personally. That's been my thinking, there's no reason to get rid of the plastic in toys intended for collectors because the box is part of the presentation. If you're going to do the open front box or no window on toys for kids that's fine cause honestly the majority of it is going into the trash, but not Classified or the high-end Star Wars sets.
I'd have see the new packaging first hand before writing it off completely. It just feels wrong at this point unless you're strictly an opener. |

I definitely prefer the plastic windows so I can see the figures as the chances of me unboxing them is pretty slim. At least the premium Zartan figure, while closed off gives you the wheel to spin so you can see the different possible faces he might wear.
