A Tier 5 is possible but shouldn't be expected.
If someone backs out because they didn't add a 5th Tier. At that point, clearly they didn't want the HISS. If someone is still on the fence if all tiers are reached, and no 5th is announced. Again it means they didn't want the HISS. At some point the product has to carry itself. But this is all theoretical. For all we know after Tier 3 , that's it. It could flatline after that. |

I think it really depends on what they can offer that is economically viable. No matter how many buy it, theres a point that Hasbro is going to be "enough" with adding onto it.
But do believe they likely had contingencies in place, likely alternate stretches and options that they could potentially move along if this hits the right numbers for Hasbro. |

I bought the HISS not concerned about the tiers, yes they are nice, but i was sold on the tank and driver alone, while i dont go into things like this and i have to think long and hard of whether i would spend this kind of money, i decided within the first hour to back it and have no regrets or intentions of backing out, i am very happy with this.

If anything I could see them offering a exclusive color re=paint of a figure they already molds created for as 5th Tier. They aren't spending money on any additional tooling, basically just color swapping something they already have. Depending on what they offer for Tier 4, Maybe an exclusive Cobra Commander or Baroness figure would be a nice Thank you to all the backers.

While certainly folks can have a certain threshold that they feel the value is met for their money, if you're not interested in the baseline product there probably isn't any stretch goal that's going to change your mind. Quote:

Far more likely and far more appropriate if they're going to go that route would be Rip-It: https://www.yojoe.com/action/00/ripit.shtml Yes, he's technically an "individual" character but he can just as easily double as a troop-builder. Track-Viper would also be cool, but would require new tooling and I suspect they'll save him for a potential HISS II HasLab down the road. Last edited by Jmacq1; 07-05-2022 at 03:43 PM.. |

No, it needs to be a Cobra vehicle to tow. Let's call it the Coastal Invader

If the 4th tier is a full-blown SMS or ASP AND another figure this would officially become the best value of any Haslab ever by a significant margin (well maybe not, I'd have to do the math on the Skystriker).
If you figure (no pun intended) that a figure is ~$25 retail now, and a vehicle/figure set is ~$50, We're talking ~$125 in add-ons not even counting the extra parts. Tack on another $50 for shipping (if you're a Premium member, which you'd be a fool not to be if you're getting this considering the shipping on a single HISS tank will pay for your membership), and that's $175-$200 in "added value" which amusingly would make the cost of the baseline tank even lower than the $150 some of the whiners were claiming Hasbro could put a HISS out for. But that's a long way of me avoiding saying that I don't think it'll be anything quite that cool/generous. Last edited by Jmacq1; 07-05-2022 at 03:52 PM.. |

If it passes all 4 tiers with lots of time left I definitely think they'll throw in something.
the Skystriker had the Cobra takeover, but that was also struggling and competing with two other Haslabs for buyers. |
