Not always, man. This adult collector tried hard to put them on straight and clean, but I also put some them wherever I wanted if I thought the location they were supposed to go was dumb.
Yeah man, it's fun and the only thing that frustrates me about it are my old eyes and fat fingers. But it's like a treat to me, and I space them out and wait til I have the time for it.

Yessir, and I lucked into it. Its also a pricey set, and I got mine for less than the average on a loose set. Cool part is that I actually had no idea it was sealed when I bought it- I basically read the bit about the tape seal itself being broken, assumed it was simply loose w/box, and when it showed, it was all sealed bags and a Vypra still on in its bubble. Even had the TRU receipt inside. Hisstankers are the best!

Not to answer for him, but all the 97-98 vehicles I had (including the Stinger) were lower quality than the originals, but still plenty good. The paper stickers were a let-down and the plastic was cheaper, but they were all still cool. I found all mine on ebay after I'd gotten back into this in 2000. They were a god-send to me then because it was really hard to come by reasonably priced sealed in box vehicles for Joes at that point in time. They're worth a ton now, and were all ready getting pricy then, but it was still reasonable. Shit, I scored an A-10 Rattler and a Conquest from that line for $50.00 shipped. Best deal ever though was a mint in box CUDA (mailaway/convention APC) for $25 shipped...and I remember debating on whether or not I should pay that much for it! lol

What's the difference between a water-slide decal and sticker sheet anyway? I've very likely worked with both over the years, but still couldn't tell you that or why it's named that. Are the decals the ones with no background just clear and the stickers have white, chrome, other color?

Right!? It's totally a time machine! Except for the eyes and fingers, and I best not sit on the floor cross-legged anymore if I want to get back up in a timely and painless manner.

Yeah waterslides are still around. You can even grab some cobra logos off ebay on waterslide. If you do a top coat sealer on them you can make the edges pretty much disappear.

Haha, lower back problems are also real. I'm at the age now that I make myself do things like sit cross-legged simply because I'm an obstinate old bastard and refuse to give it up. I always pay for it, though.
