When they put the first single one up for sale (very quickly after the pack dropped), I emailed and asked about the regular version. He said it would be up in 1-2 days. About a month later I emailed again. They replied the regular version would be up some time in the future, saying they had higher priorities. Given that the regular Beretta went up almost immediately, I have to think there's a reason (beyond just wanting to sell the pack, as Fred implies) that they haven't put that regular SIG up.

I actually emailed them twice about it and got very fast responses.

I just don't think it's coming. Also, they've made the regular SIG. They just need to sell it separately. I'm not asking him to design a new gun. I know they get tons of requests for new guns. I remember emailing with them at the very beginning, when they just offered AKs.

Well, maybe. My last email from them was March 20, so that's quite a queue.

I remember emailing with them at the very beginning, when they just offered AKs. To paraphrase Prince Da Gawd, dig if you will while I delve into the world of conjecture. A single packed Sig Sauer would possibly be Mark's best selling accessory (or his best selling pistol,) off of the strength that SIGs are the standard issue sidearm for the U.S. military. Just like me, you, and T.S.B. other dudes are wanting to replicate real world military with their JOEs and other figures. Some collectors are waiting for the single release of the SIG, while others are buying the SIG packs or the SIG with the suppressor, (and like T.S.B. said,) cutting the suppressor off to get the standard SIG. It sucks for us the consumer because we really want the single pack SIG, but at the end of the day I can't be too mad at Mark because if were me I'd be doing the same damn thing. However, I will say that he is taking unusually long to release the single pack SIG because he normally breaks up the pack within a few weeks of the packs release. The issue isn't "if," Grid Iron is going to release a single pack SIG, but rather it's when. When dudes buy them more than likely they aren't going buy just one or two. I'm willing to bet they're going to be like you, me, and T.S.B. and go in for least a half a dozen standard SIGs and start buying just one or two SIG packs, if not passing on them altogether.

I don't think Mark would tell me the normal SIG was going up in 1-2 days and then not put them because he wanted to sell more packs. It's possible people who want just the regular one are buying the pack, but I really doubt it. For one thing, the regular one isn't even featured that prominently in the pack's photos (in fact, I don't think there's a single shot of a figure wielding it).
And for another, why put the regular Beretta up so fast if the fear is that people won't buy the variants if they aren't packaged with a normal version? Also, notice that he's protecting himself somewhat from this by charging $1 more for the regular Beretta than the movie-based variants.

I have to admit that I do suspect something like this with the SIG, but what I actually meant was protecting his bottom line by charging more for the more in demand version, even though it clearly uses less plastic than the variants.
