Looks like Marauder Task Force will be getting my Walmart 4" Retro budgeted spending until I can't think of anything else I want to build.
I like how their hips are tight enough and balanced enough to stand without a foot peg stand. Walmart Retro Cobra Trooper has to slump over to stand. |

i havent bought a modern military figure since 2006 because i hate the gangly arms and legs and the articulation. i've gotten rid of most of those figures.
this is the first ive purchased since then. https://www.zicatoys.com/eagle-force...riot-commando/ i also backed scorched earth initiative's strike force alpha. but i think im more excited for operation:longbow. im hoping that if they do 25 bucks a figure like sfa did, there's way better incentives for backing than a comic that the creator of sfa had to be begged for to be free and the ability to buy more stuff rather than just make it an add on to what's already purchased. honestly, i think im overly disappointed with strike force alpha and scorched earth initiative the more i think about how little im actually getting for 150 bucks. im glad it's o-ring now though. but to impress upon the idea that all the parts can be swapped, and not include some different options to do that with your 25 dollar base figure that you MUST BUY with another figure from another faction was bullshit (the only way you could buy anything at first was 2packs for 50 bucks. they later opened up single purchases after buying a 2 pack - so you were 75 bucks in). i wont be backing anything from them in the future. that's for sure. i also just remembered i backed the skull tiefighter thing's o-ring figure from that too. this guy: im excited to forget about him again so when i do get him it'll be a good surprise. that's a cool looking figure. (i forgot i bought the riot trooper and was pretty happy when i opened that mystery package. what a great figure.) i hate that all these cost 25 bucks each though. which is exactly why hasbro got back into the o-ring game. not happy they're the same swivel necked style they bring back every time they bring this style back. oh, and im fucking sick of snake eyes and storm shadow. so, no particular order: riot commando from zica toys grindstone from grindstone toys operation: longbow also from grindstone toys the end. I haven't collected too many 1/18th scale military figures outside of Joe. It's difficult to pick three figures out of all of the ones I have. I lost count of how many I own. I'm going to with Cobra Shock Trooper, Sgt. Stalker v13, and Snake Eyes v54.
