I got into grad school a few years ago and finally finished in May. Haven’t messed with any of my collection during that time. I’m selling parts of it off right now to lay down a credit card I used for educational expenses.
Along the way, I picked up a new habit. Target shooting and tinkering with firearms. You want an expensive habit? Try any of the shooting sports. Ammo is insane, even .22LR. Parts for anything that needs repair are astronomical, so try not to break anything. My collection is really anemic for someone that lives in Texas, but I got into it as a method of self-care. I can really unplug out there while I’m lining up a good shot. It helps during deer season or any time anyone needs feral hogs culled. |

Cool self-care method, brother. Like golf, but with sharp pointy things going 200mph.

You are not kidding. However, we are still eating on the two hogs and the deer I killed I last hunting season. I think I like that part. Meat in grocery stores is so expensive and venison in stew is just as good as beef.
