In 2004 the GI Joe Collectors' Club included six Dreadheads as part of its annual set. These filled the army-builder chunk of the set, although there were supposed to be individual characters.
Head-to-toe masked repaints, these characters are painfully forgettable. Do you remember Billy-Bob, Cletus, Joe-Bob, Otis, Roscoe, or Vance? No. No one does. I kept a stupid idea and made it stupider, by unmasking them and revealing their love of musicals. Last edited by Clockwise; 02-18-2022 at 07:35 AM.. |

This is my favorite thing you've ever done. Even the fonts on the shirts. Fan-freaking-tastic.
Standing ovation.

Thank you!
I didn’t know if this would land or not, so I’m happy there’s at least one person who enjoys it! |

Haha, I remember them because I always think about making customs of at least one of each camo color! Love seeing you tackle them and so funny to make their look even goofier by turning the new group of Dreadnoks into a club of musical loving muscle for hire.
Line work and posing is fantastic as always!

Thanks!
Did you get to see all six, or view after I had to clear out some space in my attachments? |

I saw the entire group, then when I came back to comment, wasn?t sure why some were missing. Didn?t know if you pulled them for any particular reason or not. Didn?t know that?s why some older posts of yours were empty when I was going back through them before.
Probably when I make customs from this group, likely grab one gray, one red and one blue to do. Haha, definitely not tackling all six like you did.

Because I recycled the bodies, and simply replaced the base colors, it was pretty easy to make all six. Six customs, would take much much longer. Looking forward to when you make two of them, because I know you'll translate their original designs into something better than what the GIJCC came up with. |
